im from PH, it is usually delayed by a minimum of 1 month before we retailers to have stock of new 3rd party or china kits. Cant wait for DM Destiny, I even sold my B MB Strike freedom, I will just wait for two years so that DM can replicate it as well lol

What's this kits? Looks like bandai metal build?

P.S my favorite gundam = DESTINY

it is a copy of Metal build destiny, converted to a plastic model. So it is almost the same, except no Metal and the markings are different.

how' the quality of Daban MG Buster, Blitz, Duel Assault and Aegis? is it awesome?

reading and checking other review, they are good. And when I say good, it is similar to other good china copies. Expect minor flash and thicker pegs which I think every 3rd party or china brand buyers are aware and can easily address.

Whatever daban and DM produce, I just buy what is more worth the money. If someone will release clear psychoframe, that will be a sure win.

just do custom decals, it is okay as long as you are not printing white cause you cant print it with 99% (exaggerated numbers I pulled from my ass >.<) of the commercial printers out there.

the color scheme reminds of the Honoo Wing Gundam (irc)

here is a guide. I also followed another guide but forgot the correct search parameters to have it be seen in google but the link below has covered the important points

http://otakuonabudget.blogspot.com/2014/05...ide-decals.html

The article is from PH though and we can easily buy decal papers in our bookstore, I am sure you have some equivalent store there in MY.

I dont do vectoring or imaging application, I just grab PNG pictures on the net and resize in Microsoft word (you can use excel, power point as well, as long as you are not making your own design), test print using normal papers and see if it is okay. Once I am done, I print using Decal paper (must use the correct paper type for the printer you use) then after it is dry, I put a layer of topcoat (5 to 6 mist spray using Bosny)

I mainly use CLEAR decals since it is easy to apply, just cut round around the decals and apply, main dis-advantage is, it is not opaque and any WHITE color will be clear.

White Paper decals can print opaque decals (meaning no color bleeding from the color of the plastic or paint) but you need to cut the decals exactly on the shape of the decals.

I dont like the most 3rd party Decal products from samuel decals and taobao (basically source of samuel).

Here is a sample from my work.

DIY decals are the ff:
Medusa skull (from one piece)
NUNS logo below the canopy
small skull logo behind

I thought it was a good practice to shave pins for 3rd party or china kits, especially if you are painting it after.

I dont think Cement will work but CA Glue or superglue is the most commonly used glue since it can adhere plastic and metal.

use tootpick or any thinner pointed product as applicator since you dont want excess glue around the PE part. If the PE parts is near on clear plastic, you have the risk on fogging it so apply more carefully

here are a couple of page from the web

better late than never, I got the DM Destiny. The box is indeed really big though similar to their strike box, it should have been smaller since the parts inside keeps on moving though the good points is that it is at least protected by two box.

Cant wait to build it on March tongue.gif
