please do not mix Bootleg and 3rd party product.

I saw the review of Prime92, great product really, I just wish it only came with one pack since I only like the Dragoon backpack (just to further the price lower). The good thing about it though is that you can use the other pack to other Strike Frame-based gundam.

Anyone knows what happened to the Dragon Momoko Launcher only or Sword only kit for Strike Gundam?

So far for 3rd Party Plamo, the 3rd party stuff is divided into two

1. One business is on the copy business (Either copy B kit, Copy resin kit and turn to plastic kit or in case of DM, start with resin kit and improvise)

2. Second business requires toy engineering and more planning (R&D cost is high), I think similar brands are mechanicore, Elyn, etc. With the trend, even 1/100 kit already cost high enough though they really compensate by adding more details.

Now in order for full 1/35 kit to happen while maintaining cheap price, this thing need to happen:

1. One 3rd party kit will do the R&D to create and incur all of the expense
2. The other 3rd party kit will rip-off the other work.

imo, the 1/60 and 1/72 resin kit though are feasible since there are lots of kit to choose from now.

Ill be happy if DM continue its plan, converting those resin parts to plastic kit.

edit: anyone knows where did DM copied the 1/100 Skygrasper?

Got my DM Sword Strike now, too late in the game so never got the optional chest and feet parts (though they are not a freebies I am dying to race for)

I would say the water slide decals are printed good as well, though I am not sure how it will perform later on.

My only 'complaint' is that it should have been pre cut.

thanks for the comment, they look pre-cut to me so I assume it to be so doh.gif

So I need to trim it as closest as possible.

I am getting your point now Mushy. I thought when you said NOT pre-cut is that it is similar to a home-made decals that you topcoated.

Trying to re-words Mushy statement. (if I got it correctly)

Precut for him means it is like sticker wherein the decal paper is also halfly-cut. So what will happen is get use tweezers to move back and forth the decal paper so that the cut will be completely. Once done, lift the paper that was cut and dip in water.

the all can be finger seems larger than fixed ones... is the articulated finger same like dm strike n easy to break?
*
imo, articulated hands are pure marketing, it looks good but when it comes to handling the weapon, fixed hands do it a lot better. The nature of articulated hands is really prone to break and even with the Daban 1/60 SF hands, I also ended up breaking a few fingers (though I was able to correct it before). I also tried B Brand Sazabi ver. Ka hands, it looks good until it goes to the part that it needs to handle it's rifle/shotgun.

edit:
no photos yet, will post by night.

started building the Sword Strike from DM, I plan on using the B brand aile striker for perfect strike. Currently finished snap fit the sword only and I decided to remove the seamlines. With proper planning it is manageable.

It just goes to show how good the DM model used in the photoshop, almost all of the seamlines there was removed.

Sword Pack is pleasure to work on, launcher pack is another story, plus it is really bulky, in this case, I think I prefer the B version.

Snapfitting only, I havent build the DM strike yet.

even if you cut the pegs at 45 degrees, some china kit will still be tighter than B.

Here is my DM strike, I also used the B aile pack. Target is to have a perfect strike painted in different gray colors.

I was supposed to prioritize the weapon since I have the B brand already built, but after snap fitting it, I said to myself, DM Strike first before anything else. I still need to do a lot of paint application (color separation like RG) but as it is, it really looks good enough to me.

Wait, so both Daban and DM are releasing their own PG Unicorn?

yes, but so far I am more interested in the DM version. Daban will be pure copy while people are expecting some extra from the DM version

I liked DM Strike, I never had any serious fitment issues. I would say they are better than the Daban model I build before. Both has fitment issues. The DM choice of hand was really unfortunate, DM or B, that type of hand sucks.

Just saw this on the net. http://imgur.com/a/FXrXs

some people on FB are still snapbuilding it so feedback or review is very limited.

edit: Found video review (it has english subs)
