guys compare to hi nu ver.ka and hi nu evo

which kit is worth to buy?
*
Still lack of detailed images of Hi Nu ver.Ka, can't really tell which one worths more. But since it's going to be a Ver.Ka, it definitely warrants a serious consideration smile.gif

That basically comes down to which one's aesthetics you prefer: EVO's sleekness, or Ver. Ka's accurate bulk.
*
Just noticed, he said Hi Nu Very. Ka which B* itself hasn't released yet laugh.gif I think he meant Nu Ver. Ka.

I cant be too sure.. hi nu ver ka and hi nu evo is actually a valid contest whistling.gif

But then he's been saying daban hi nu ver ka previously so... i really have no idea
*
Doesn't B* just announce and show the prorotype of Hi Nu Ber. Ka? Unless he is referring to Nu Ver. Ka.

I think just omit the non-factory or customised builds by modelers.

Hi Nu is supposed to be bulkier than Nu by the way.

guys what paint and thinner normaly u guys use to paint china gundams?

seems tamiya thinner abit pricy.... any suggestion from masters?
*
QUOTE(General_Nic @ Jun 21 2014, 07:50 PM)
don't ever use those thinner from hardware shops, that'll destroy your gunpla
Hobby thinner are expensive for a reason, they are safe for plastics, and not many people manufacture it
*
I find Daiso nail polish remover works well, no plastic degradation at all, either China or B* versions.

nail polish remover works well for a reason, you won't be wanting it to melt your fingernails right? lol
*
Of course, but comparing the easily obtainable and at cheap price with similar achievable result to 'specialized' solvent for plastic model, I find the choice is clear for those who would prefer anything that works the same but cost much lesser biggrin.gif

Sure, for those that needs stronger 'assurance', go get the hobby grade thinner smile.gif

It's better to assemble first before painting, this is where you will get ideas on what and where to paint.

I haven't got even the Duel that was released years ago.

If I purchased one of the four, then definitely I have to purchase the other three, so I'm resisting now dry.gif

How is Blitz quality btw?

can't comment, i bought B* a long time back (since Blitz is my absolute favourite out of them all)
my bro bought the daban one but he hasn't built it yet
*
Aah, because the last Daban kit I bought was 007s, and the plastic quality was decent. Wondering how they fare now hmm.gif

well for buster, they're doing pretty well, but i had a bit of problem with the leg joint.. mine snapped at the bend (part E2, it's standard for all GAT-X frames) so i had to DIY up a fix else my buster would be short a leg.. seems just a slight bit of molding issues, which are a bit odd because they weren't present on Duel hmm.gif

in any case, if you do get buster, be careful of some joints.. they're quite tight
*
Then it looks like I have to do the detailing before I assemble them laugh.gif Might get one, either Blitz or Buster. Please poison me which one to get biggrin.gif

i'm biased towards blitz, but damn buster does look really REALLY good in hand.. i still need to finish up buster's cannons, i'll do a side by side as soon as i get them done.. but blitz will be B* though brows.gif
*
I should do homework first doh.gif I like Blitz design but Buster has interesting colors doh.gif

too late and tired to get them downstairs for a photo session, so i'll do it tomorrow.. but buster by himself looks fantastic, just needs some shaving down on some pegs like the earlier mentioned leg part, and the arms for the cannons because they're all quite tight and prone to stressing out other parts
other than that, he does look great laugh.gif

Maybe will take Blitz doh.gif

It's risky, I would prefer if they release kits of 1-2 years ago so not to get attention by B*.

Wanna get a PG and try ma but budget nia. Price for PG 00 Raiser from Bdai is *bling bling*  sweat.gif
So initially is TTHongli and then rebrand to GaoGao after a law case and now they release the product under the name of Daban. So they are the same company but Daban is newer with better quality la, is it? correct me if i am wrong.

I'll scout the market and see if i could get a 00 Raiser, thanks for reply!  biggrin.gif

Err IIANM daban and GG are two different companies.

Daban has PG Strike Freedom and GG has PG 00 Raiser. Both are great in PG quality, but to be honest it's not a huge step of difference in details when compared to their MG counterparts. Articulation and excitement of building a PG, of course goes to PG.

If you really wanna get a PG, then get the 00 Riser for the GN drives gimmick. PG SF with the wings open is going to take a really massive amount of space.
