In Prime95,
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4.

What does the message above means? rclxub.gif

Awwww.. Clock for two days.. Still unable to find a stable rate.. Damn.. A question here.. I run SP2004 for CPU + RAM stress test.. Ermm.. Is it must let it run without any disturbance? Because if I load something, the test will returns error..

EDIT: Btw, does KVR DDR2 safe with 2.4v? I don't wanna fried my RAM.. sweat.gif Well erm.. It's D2N5, not found in RAM Hand Book..

Whenever there are errors, either raise a bit vcore or vdimm.
If not scale the ram speed down to ddr533/ddr667 to find whether ram holding u back or the CPU. smile.gif
-pWs-, try ClockGen.

Found the sweet spot at last.. biggrin.gif
Dare not go any higher with stock HSF.. Idle 34c, max load 55c.. Btw, 246 x 11 (2.7Ghz), 1.575 vcore, 2.0 vdimm.. Is it ok for A64 Athlon to have 55c? A bit worry thought.. notworthy.gif

EDIT:

3500+ Orleans F2 | Shengz | BIOSTAR TForce 570U | KVR DDR2-667 | AMD Stock Cooler | 2706MHz

About the temperature.. Mobo hardware monitor software shows me 54/55c while speedfan shows me 45/46c.. Which one should I trust? sweat.gif

ok la.. let it hold stable for some period (burn in), then u lower the vcore.. and start from lower HTT. then u will have the sweetspot (246) again with reduced max load.. rolleyes.gif

EDIT : aik? CPUZ show 1.25VCore..  rclxub.gif

Thanks for the info. I will try it later.. flex.gif
Errr.. Ignore the CPU-Z vcore.. I have no idea why after I oc'ing for two days, and the vcore gone mad.. Maybe.. processor fried soon... cry.gif

Need some helps here.. When I doing prime test, if I run some programs and the prime test will returns error.. But if I let the prime test running alone without open any other programs, there will be no crashed or error occured.. So is it considered my oc stable?

Oh goshhhhhh... My CPU really get me gone mad.. Prime stable for 48 hours.. But once I simply run programs, it will crash.. What the heck is holding me back? My RAM? Or the mobo? No BIOS update available currently.. Quite regret getting this mobo.. cry.gif

i've no problem with my biostar 570u.
while priming,can run other programs.
*
Priming now, hopefully it goes fine.. sad.gif
The max HTT I can use is up to 250, anything over that, it won't boot or not stable. I'm on stock HSF, so wouldn't risk my processor with > 1.6v. And RAM I have use up to 2.1v. It's the max. I think same to you too. 1.95v is the stock vdimm. I wonder why? It suppose to be 1.8v, not?
Btw, does single or dual channel RAM affects in oc?

EDIT: What about AMD processor driver? I've updated my to the latest version. Does it affect overclocking ability?

disable CnQ, disable any smart fan control.

post out ur memory timing setting. (hopefully not all AUTO)
try stress ur ram or run the ram at ddr2-533 (if ur ram ddr2-667).
*
Yea, I'd disabled CnQ since I oc, smart fan was disabled at default.

Sorry the attachment a bit messy because of low screen resolution on 15 inch LCD. blush.gif

This are the settings in BIOS currently:
HTT: 246
Multiplier: 11
Vcore: 1.575
Divider: 667
Vdimm: 2.0
Timing: 4-4-4-12 (1T)

Timing has been tighten up. Atm, Memtest, SuperPI 32 passed. Will start prime95 now. If the system rock stable, I believe this is the most stable settings currently. Can't go any higher already. cry.gif

Shengz, 1.575vcore is a bit too much IMO.

1.25v should get you 2.5ghz easily.
I don't believe u need to pump so much to go 2.7ghz tongue.gif

Try memory setting below
It works on 6100-am2. tweak it to fit on your tf570u.

It was given by PCcrazy to me and it does work on my 6100-am2 and tf550.
Or u can just lower multipler to oc the HTT
*
Yo allenultra, thanks for sharing this settings! laugh.gif
Only able to oc tomorrow morning, have guest sleeping in my room. Save down the whole settings in my notepad before you edit it. hmm.gif Just joking! rclxm9.gif
1.25v can get me 2.5ghz, but 2.7ghz needed at least 1.55v to boot, and yet not stable. Btw, I read up somewhere they said the temperature for A64 should not over 60c. At 1.575v, my max load is up to 48c(Speedfan/CoreTemp)/57c(mobo monitor software sweat.gif ) currently, I guess, it's ok? Hehe..

Any chance you found some guides on ram timing for newbie? icon_rolleyes.gif
Advance guide might confuse me. I will try google around. thumbup.gif

EDIT: Btw, when my HTT over 266, there is no chance for 10x multiplier to boot. mad.gif

can you do 266 with 9x multi?
*
Yea, after the ram timing shared by PCcrazy/allenutra. Before that, there is no way for 9x 266HTT, not even 8x. shakehead.gif

nope..just using T550
i think something wrong with it.Coz no way the cpu temp will be lower than RT (35c) unless u'r in aircond
*
My processor is idle at around 27c during night time, hot evening 34c, midnight 23c. brows.gif 1.45vcore. When it was virgin(I mean stock rolleyes.gif ), I seriously don't believe the temperature. wub.gif

I tried to touch heatsink. And I trust the temp reading from SpeedFan/CoreTemp. nod.gif

Edit: No, no air-cond in my room. Whenever I notice my processor idlig more than 32c at evening, I will just leave it there. The room is just soooooooo warm! shakehead.gif

any suggestion for going any faster??

Your CPU and chipset looks warm. You may need to change after market HSF if wish to go further. Btw, make sure your HT Link lower than 1000 for stability and overclockability. smile.gif

just wanna to ask oppinion

between mobo am2

biostar tforce6100  vs  biostargf6100

which one better interm of:
perfomance
features support
oc capability.. rclxms.gif
*
Basically both are the same. Main point is, TForce series is built for OC purpose. It has solid caps around the socket and more features for overclockers in bios. smile.gif

EDIT: if you have further inqueries, you may ask in hardware questions and answers section. biggrin.gif

if so, update me in list plis mod. hehe.. after 6months waiting.. now i`m still learning overclock technique. ty guys for help me.

You didn't try multiplier of 11? Its not worth for so much vcore but just 200mhz more. Do check your temperature too.
