Mine cannot mod to SLi because they're have put some black glue on that area. laugh.gif
same with mine... I just scrap off that 'glue' and pencil it.

be careful not to scrap off the metal point laugh.gif

ikan_semilang : how about cooling? maybe the temp is holding back

anyway.... tested some DDR800 divider action on my DFI (current TForce550 bios does not officially support DDR800 divider for single core procesors)....

The bus speed should be in the same section as CPU setting.

Your cpu default multiplier is x10... there should be no problem.

soulfly : You got a Biostar TF550 mobo before right?
A question, how do I change the clock multiplier in the BIOS? I found one option and changed it to x8, but when I look into cpuz it was still in x10...

Not sure if I had posted here, but here's my Orleans 3000+ doing 26 seconds in Super PI 1M.

Test Setup:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ AM2 "Orleans F2" (Corsair Nautilus500) - OC to 3126MHz at 1.70V
DFI Infinity NF UltraII-M2 (BIOS D711)
OCZ PC8000 2x1GB Ti Alpha VX2
FSP Epsilon 700W
GeForce 6200

26 secs is fast. way to go.

I measure my o/c by improvements when I play Oblivion (which takes up 80% of what little spare time I have, the other 20% at LYN).

So far I checked using FRAPS benchmark, @2.2GHz and @2.7GHz, no significant FPS increase. I think last time I tested was 2FPS @ great forest. But I think FEAR will improve, once I finish Oblivion I will continue study o/c impact on FEAR and GRAW....

Oblivion is more GPU intensive, which is why you are getting little different from overclocking your CPU.

My X2 3600+ SuperPi 1M time was 37secs only even though I OC'ed it to 2.4GHz now...

Is it normal? I think its pretty slow compare to my old Venice 3000+ (OC'ed to 2.5GHz) which get 35secs... Wasn't dual core suppose to be faster? Or RAM also play a big role? (Correct me if I'm wrong.. still quite new with the benchies tongue.gif )

no... dual core doesn't have any effect on SuperPi calculation ... it's just a single threaded task

Venice 512MB L2 cache
X2 3600+ 256MB LC cache per core
Single core or multiple core doesn't affect Super PI. What's important is L2 cache and CPU frequency. If your CPU is running fast enough, RAM timings doesn't matter (eg: Conroe).

You should have bought the X2 3800+ and enjoy 512MB L2 cache per core. IMO, the X2 3600+ is basically a Dual Core Sempr0n.
