1. I just receive word from my supplier that got new AMD FX AM2 chips:

FX70
FX72
FX74

and the price is cheaper than FX 62

The full codes are:

Sure such processor exist ? I thot only FX74 exist ? Saw a preview of it in Hardwarezone.com.my

Previously FX was like to giant over EE series, now cnot compare with C2D la, but FX was like top suddenly now target for mainstream users ? Got new chip to pit against QX ? Can't wait

mine can go to 3.2 max @ a very high vcore and vdimm and also a very high temp laa... also dun dare to prime... onli can do super pi.. and the result is almost the same as @ 3003mhz... so, i'm sticking @ 3003mhz laa... the higher it goes, the hotter my room... feels like summer... no, like a drought actually...

im using a 4 pin power supply for the mobo but the biostars mobo is 8 pin! is that ok? any danger? or is there a converter i can buy? thanks!!

currently im using 8pin lar bro zamree, i got the converter bundled together with my HEC psu..

ive heard somewhere that 4pin still can be used but with proper..do google it as its not stated in the manual..

which biostar revision start using 8-pin? is it the same revision as the one with 2.4vdimm?

it is 65W....perhaps it's a bad core?....

Last time it was still using 4-pin connector. I believe it's the recent revision that utilizes 8-pin. And I think this version also provides 2.4Vdimm jumper. But how about the selectable voltage in BIOS.... maxed at 2.1V or 2.3V?

regarding high clock with lower voltage... i believe you need to have very good cooling to maintain the temp not to exceed a certain temperature.

for example, my single core can prime stable at 2.8ghz with 1.475 only if the temperature stays below 50'C. if it reaches 50'C... then prime error occurs.

and of course, some good burn-in will improve overclockability as well.

my mobo for adjust ram voltage only max can 1.95v.
n my processor voltage max just only 1.525v
when i wan to push to 270 x10 my voltage adjust to maximum it still cant boot.y?
at 260 x10 the voltage alr need adjust to 1.500v then can start window.
can i oc my ram to more high speed?cos now i set at 533 only.
somebody can help me?

mmm, why i use cpu-z my core speed readings 1000mhz to 1900mhz and the multiplier jump frm 5x to 9x ?? n my htlink is 1000mhz ???!!!

my ram hitting its max d on around 265 on 667..going no where even looser timing..add V wont help either

my 2 sticks are kvr with hynix fp-y5..its very clockable as in some review from other clockers but surely mine wid kn9 ultra doesnt haha

instead of adjusting the divider to 667 when 2.5ghz, i set everything to default and start overclocking with ddr667..and so far it managed to go 2.7ghz un-prime..

but for my TForce 570u, its either can select <2.2v or ONLY 2.4v (ONLY means "will be fixed at 2.4v automatically, and it can't be adjusted under CMOS setup")

im scared to feed 2.4vdimm for my ram..scary it will got fried..
