sjn hassan, i thought yours can do 2.3GHz at stock vcore. Looks like in the end, we got the same chip, sad to say our batch sux.
the chip will withstand 1.55-1.6 on good air cooling, depends on temperature. I'm on 1.55-1.57V for 2.6GHz. Lousy chip

QUOTE(soulfly @ Feb 16 2007, 02:00 PM) interesting news... any source about it? QUOTE(-pWs- @ Feb 16 2007, 02:34 PM) I heard it from davidletterboyz. He is using it now. vdimm supports until 2.4v if not mistaken -pWs-yeap yeap, Tforce 570U Rev. 5.x supports up to 2.4V Vdimm. Sensor reads 2.48V. But then this revision has one stock BIOS only....cant run DDR2 667 divider....

QUOTE(zamree7 @ Feb 16 2007, 06:36 PM) owh.. that y mine vdimm till 2.1v oni... lucky my Kingston 667 with hynix chipset can do ddr900 with no problem at 2.0v Added on February 16, 2007, 6:39 pm@davidletterboyz eh... how to know ah its rev.5??? It's written on the box. Even if your mobo is not rev 5.x, u still can go up to at least 2.2V. Check your manual. 8tvt, i mean the BIOS is a bit crappy. If i set DDR2-667 divider, it will run at the same speed as DDR2-533 divider. This post has been edited by davidletterboyz: Feb 16 2007, 07:03 PM

It's stated at ur box. Got a sticker with bar codes, model name and revision etc.

QUOTE(Asus @ Apr 11 2007, 08:16 PM) so sad that 570u can only do 2.1v without jumper adjusting and 2.2v only after adjusting the jumper btw screenie below is 1st time overclocking testing, hope can gain much more after this cpu @ 1.25v ram @ 2.1v (still testing out the minimum voltage can be use so at the moment just push to the max) Most 570U r like that but the one i sold u has 2.4Vdimm jumper. So, dont use that unless ur ram is D9....

QUOTE(Asus @ Apr 12 2007, 12:10 PM) really ah, hurraaayyyyyyy if move the jumper the voltage straight away go to 2.4v or what?? or still can adjust in bios?? After u set the jumper, it will stay at 2.4V and u cant control in BIOS anymore. So, be careful....

QUOTE(allenultra @ Apr 13 2007, 01:40 PM) Amedion, its normal. Not all AM2 board can go over 300HTT. Especially Biostar motherboard. DFI board does break 300HT margin though. My previous biostar reached ~335HTT no problem....how to do it? read below QUOTE(soulfly @ Apr 13 2007, 01:52 PM) I think it's not about DFI or Biostar or brand related issue. I think it's the chipset. I have seen how pcmoddingmy reached 400mhz HTT on his TForce 6100-AM2. I have yet to see anyone using nF550-based DFI that hits above 280mhz. But those using nF4-based mobo can easily hit above 300mhz. Yeah but pcmoddingmy was using clockgen. My previous 570U wont pass 280HTT from bios. Needs clockgen... Yeah, some CPU has weak mem controller that doesnt like to scale well with HTT. But if u r stuck at 280HTT....i'm sure its the biostar buggy BIOS that prevents it from going higher. Try different ram divider and DQS options then oc with clockgen when u boot near 280HTT.

QUOTE(TerryZeroX @ May 21 2007, 01:44 PM) Guys at 290htt i can boot in windows and orthos and superpi 32m, but whenever i restart my pc during bootup theres a long beep and it hangs. i have to reset it and all my settings is back to default any idea why? Currently at 286htt and not having problem with it Maybe it's cold boot etc. It happens to some mobos..... what you can do is oc from window after setting 286htt in BIOS. :

QUOTE(-pWs- @ May 26 2007, 09:41 PM) I think my board should be able to handle such high HTT. But i not a hardcore overclocker. Wan to ask if we get "Illegal Sumout" from orthos, is it meant by the setting is unstable?? -pWs-The list is only for CPU-Z verified. It never say it's orthos stable.
