@sempronic

If i am not mistaken, brisbane 4000 din clock well if compared to 3600.
I only found one review overclocking brisbane 4000 and the result is not impressive.

Is it ur ram plug in in the 1st slot near to cpu? It is impossible for a brisbane to clock so low. Brisbane default vcore can clock quite high already.

Try to lower down ur ram divider if still experience problems, htlink multi as well.

Please read the FUNDAMENTALS OF OVERCLOCKING.

There are series of guides. I suggest that you read kmarc's guide.

The problem is obvious, reduce the HT multiplier. Also, its a Windsor F2, which means beyond 2.4GHz you'll need to tweak around a bit.

jy14, treason's board does have a jumper that can straight jump to 2.4v but 2.4v maybe too much for certain ram.

So if he want to run 2.2v or 2.3v, vdimm mod is needed.

1st of all, i'm getting X2 soon and my target would be 3600+ Brisbane core.

About mobo, i saw in the list that many of u guys using Biostar mobo. Is it really good? How's it it compare with MSI K9N Neo? In terms of OC-ability and support(driver).

And, is it enough to OC 3600+ to 2.5GHz using only stock cooler?

haha yah like allenultra said its either 2.1v or 2.4v ... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif cant understand y biostar did that..i bought the board last time thinking that the bios vdimm adjustment goes up to 2.3v...otherwise would have gone for dfi instead... sweat.gif

mfa333,

2.5ghz on stock cooler shouldnt b a problem for brisbane as it can do 2.5ghz at close to stock v core...
