good cpu prime 24 hours?

Good CPU with good vcore. My 3800++ 2.6Ghz already need 1.525v....

i saw many dying k8 liao...
for me... i'm happy to get back 2700mhz after selling my 3000+ venice that clocked 2700mhz too...
make sure prime 24 hour stable is the best system

rite now only manage to boot into windows at 2800Mhz@1.575v but not stable enuff..
scared woo to use vcore above 1.6v..

wow bro.. i never get to try priming for 24 hour as my pc is not at my home but at my store here.. dun dare to leave it priming for that long.. manege to prime for only 2 hour ++

need good cooling kit if wanna to do that bro..

i got a question guyz..with 2.5ghz 1.488 vcore and ddr1000 2.1vdimm,i can say that my rig is quite stable even not doing the prime95 or sp2004(becoz no time), considering that no bsod or restart/hang/crash when in full load..

but sometimes(not everytime) it turned out to be cold/warm boot when i switch on my pc..example when i switch on my pc on the morning it will shows blank screen on the monitor..but this situation didnt appear when i restart my pc..only when boot after shut down..

can help me?

that consider a cold boot problem that happening at the earlier k8 oc stages...
consider that it is not a good oc and stable yet...
update latest bios maybe help...
adjust ram timing maybe help...
no body can help u with that situation...

cold boot... hmm... i think there is no solution for cold boot... usually happens bcoz of the proc... a fren of mine once happen the same to him... but after he change the proc, no cold boot happens...
he tried evrything, from adding vdimm and vcore to timing.. still the same...
if u have frens that is using the same proc as urs, try to swap for a while and test the same setting...

anyway, wat proc r u using??

i faced it on default bios... latest bios should help...
thankfully asus update the bios frequently..

im using am2 x2 3800 bought from jian yi...cold boot wont happen on mine with default bios..but it happened when 2.5ghz ddr1000..already increase my vcore to 1.5 also still same..

i checked on biostar website..looks like my mobo has the updated bios already

oh. forgot to tell that cold boot happens onli when u OC to the max... on default speed, it won't happen...
for more info, ask sempronic... cold boot happen to him when he was using the x2 3600...

can anyone explain what is cold boot?
from what i know is we manually switch on the pc. and warm boot is the pc is restart.....

Cold boot occurs when u turn off ur computer for a long time and it takes long time for the computer to boot up.

Last time i also having cold boot as well. But that was my motherboard faulty.

Do u update your bios already?? Btw, i do not think your 2.5Ghz already highest, you still can go somemore
