Hey guys! I been lifting since 3 years ago and lately, i been getting a sharp pain in both my forearm since 2 months ago and still have been continuing my usual workouts, while withholding the pain. It doesn't hurt when I'm putting tensions on the muscle while training but it hurts when i release the contractions. Even if its on my rest day, I could feel that pain whenever I press on that area(between the bone and muscle) I have done several research online and it shows that im having forearm splints. Most of the pain are from various strength exercises such as bench press, rope pull down and bicep curls, and it hurts a lot more if I release the weight slowly. So my question here is , how long should I avoid the gym to give it some time to recover and I heard that it's quite common among builders in certain period of time . Is is true? Im 18 yrs old and i would prefer to avoid much ''off days'' if possible. Hope to receive guidance from y'all in this especially from those who have such experience before

Google up ice/heat treatments. Get a wrist wrap. Do wrist warm ups and stretches.
