Wow that was bad , 600 is unplayable , beside that , how was the game ? Grindy? The concept is good but still need to ask those who played it .

once the ping exceeded 500ms, the game is unplayable as you kept on getting the roll-backs etc... but this doesn't always happen. maybe once every 20 minutes, perhaps? you can pretty much enjoy the game even at 280ms.

based on what i experienced so far, i can say that the game would require some sort of grind to advance yourself and you seriously need to play with somebody to get the most out of it. there is no actual character level in this game. instead, you are measured by how far is your progress on the Destiny Board. every action you did in the game (except walking) will award you with related 'fame' points attributed to the action and then this value will determine your progress on the destiny board. Tier 1 to Tier 3 is easily achievable in one day... Starting Tier 4, it depend much on quite a lot of thing and would definitely require a lot of time to reach the 'ultimate' build..

one major feature of this game is the player driven economy. unlike common MMO, you get in-game money by selling items to NPCs. in this game, money only come from quest, drops from humanoid enemy and by dismantling some stuff. commonly, serious money can only be obtained from harvesting and crafting. there is quite a lot of stuff to be done in the game. dunno how to explain everything haha

Here is a bit more info about the game (in my own words) and based on what i understand so far for those that have interest on the game.. Pardon my rojak English ya! notworthy.gif

1. The kind of equipment you wear will determine what skill is available to you. 3 major branch of equipment are Plate (high defense, HP recovery and carry weight), leather (high movement speed and reduced CC effect to wearer) and cloth (amplifies damage, low defense). Going further on the Destiny Board will cause these 3 main branch to branch out to 3 sub-categories each. No limitation on what you can / cannot wear as the game have no fixed class system. You can be a mage while wearing plate armor. And you can also mix and match everything to your liking.

2. Same goes to weapon. 3 main categories which are Sword (branch out to axe, polearms, greatsword, glaive, dual sords and warbow), Bow (branch out to claws, dual daggers, longbow, crossbow, etc) and Staff/Scepters (branch out to fire staffs, frost staff, arcanist, holy staff aka healers, warlock, etc.).. Things that I mentioned here is quite far on the Destiny Board and would require quite some time to be achieved.

3. For crafters, you usually start as a gatherer and then advance through the Destiny Board concurrently between crafter and gatherer. For crafting, main things to be crafted are Weapons, Armors, Accessories (bags and capes) and Furniture. For gatherer, you can be loggers, skinner/tanner, weaver and miner.

4. There is premium status that can be bought by using real money or in-game currency. Around mid-game, this can be obtained with casual 3 - 4 days of farming. I think being a premium player have a lot of advantage especially for gatherer and crafter.

5. The world is SUPER big and the region in the world map can be identified based on several colors. The region color will determine the PVP-wise of the area. Most dangerous is definitely RED (PVP-free area, item remain on your inventory after death) and BLACK zones (PVP-free, item lost once you are dead). At start of the game, only a handful of these lands are claimed by factions. Guild can contest for control over these lands and randomly occurring guild wars is to be expected.

Some cons of this game:
1) PING... Average ping that I got is around 280ms. During summer beta, I played the game using wtfast and the best I ever got is 200 - 220ms. Now, you can no longer use vpn service to access the game bangwall.gif

2) No teleportation available. You need to walk / ride horse / ride ox to travel around. At start of the game, you might spend around 50% of your gaming time to walk around! Horses and Ox can only be obtained at Tier 3 ~ 5 - 6 hours playing time.

3) You definitely need to join a guild to advance past Tier 3/4. Why? Starting Tier 3, you need gold to refine your material for crafting purpose and the amount of gold depend on the facility that you are going to use. Players can buy a shop in this game and set their desired service fee for others to use it. If you have guild, most of the time using the guild facility is free.

keep on asking and i try to provide answers.. cool2.gif

Wow , you just explained most of my question mark.
I'm still considering to join the beta or not . I think this game suits me . Are there many servers or just 1 server with a huge map ?
Btw thanks for all the info given . It helps .

erm, joining the beta surely can provide you with better picture of how the game mechanic works. the beta will last around 4 months. if not mistaken until end of november. and then there will be a wipe prior official launch. the game had changed so much since the first time i played this game and its good to have game developer who takes into consideration on the player's opinion.

there is no server for this game. everybody played on the same server. even those who played this from their phone. yup, you can play this on your android and ios. the physical location of the server if not mistaken is eastern US.
