First and foremost, all sifu please dont flame me, i am just curious whether my way of calculating is correct or not.

For example, ON Performance Whey (4 Lbs) is priced at RM155.00

Serving size 38g Protein per serving 22g.

So that means i get roughly 57.9% of whey out of each serving right?

So that means the total protein i get from the tub is 4lbs x 57.9% = 2.315lbs

That means 1lbs = rm66.93

Then i compare it with ON 100% Whey Gold Standard (5lbs) RM185

Serving size 30.4g proten per serving 24g

So that means i get roughly 78.9% of whey out of each serving

So total protein from tub is 5 x 78.9%=3.95lbs

That means 1lbs = rm46.87

Is this correct?

Can you explain how and what way its cheaper?

If its the same type and brand, the 10lbs is definitely cheaper isn't ?

The simplest way is Price/Servings = RM per serving. Use this to measure whether Whey A is more expensive or cheaper than Whey B.

BUT BEAR IN MIND:

1. Compare apple to apple; meaning that compare whey with whey that have the same properties example Isolate with isolate etc.

2. Take note of added ingredients such as creatine. If they added 5mg of creatine per serving, that would already cut the cost of buying additional tub for fulfilling creatine needs.

rm divided lbs cheaper
higher protein per serving too

I saw normally rm140 for 5lbs they will sell rm260 for 10lbs... so per lbs u buy 10 would be cheaper isn't? Or am i getting something wrong?

I tot if same type of protein, the protein per serving should be the same? Just they pack into different tub size?

Your calculation is correct but might not be what you want. Some has higher protein ratio per scoop some has lesser. You will need to identify the content you need in a tub. be it for mass gain, lean cut, etc. Pick that range and compare apple to apple. I would then eveluate the price perscoop and judge is I can really live with that price difference.
