Turbo owners.. Seriously, don't be elitists.

I am one of the Preve Executive owners that is actually satisfied with the non-turbo IAFM+ engine. No regrets.

NO DOUBT, the CFE would definitely be more powerful.

BUT, not everyone:
- Want to own a turbo engine. Which equals more problems if problems ever arise. And more $$ to maintain.

- Need that extra power. - Just like me. (I am not saying this to brag, just to make my point.) Having driven a sleeper turbo car for the past few years, I have lesser craze for power now. Because power will never be enough, there will always be someone faster than you. UNLESS you only know how to cowardly bully smaller car. Which brings me to my next point below.

- Have or Want to spend that extra RM10k. To me, not worth spending that money to satisfy road ego. Rather spend on other stuff.

To be honest, my opinion, the IAFM+ is not as underpowered as people think. Power, very subjective. It is not very fast, but neither is it 'underpowered'. It's good enough for a comfortable drive.

Haha.. All I can say is, there are few ways that can reduce the CVT whine to minimal, almost unnoticeable level.

The CVT whine intrusion into my cabin area is now only like 20-30% from the original 100% 'cvt whine' sound level.

David, this isn't directed at you.. But i can't help but notice that most rejection and criticism here of the Exec/IAFM+ come mostly from people who do own an Exec model.

This one very easy to solve. Easy solution with step-by-step guide:

1) Ask him "Do you own a or have you owned a Preve?"

To which he will retort: "Never! Don't want to own that 'dead shit car' and will never own Proton!"

You have few options from here on. Choose wisely. You may:
A) Tell him: "Then you just shut the f*ck up lah." . And walk out.
B) Slap him. And walk out.
C) Take a Proton Preve brochure, hit his face with it. And walk out.
D) Take a KIA Forte brochure, stick it up his wherever. And walk out.

Or the ultimate choice.

E) Tell him 'Then you just shut the f*ck up lah.", slap him, take a Preve brochure and hit his face with your right hand, while simultaneous taking a KIA Forte brochure and stick it up his wherever with your left hand. And walk out. Consider running right after that.

IF ALL ELSE FAILS!! And he retorts: "Ya! I own a Preve and I hate it! I am a dead shit idiot!" . To which you only have one option..

A) Walk out the shop. Go online. Come to lowyat forum (don't bother post on FB cause your friends don't care), and cry to us. We will lend you a shoulder, but not our beloved Preve.

Haha don't bother about Sierraglow guys.. Waste of money.

Let me tell you my experience with SierraGlow on my previous weekend conti car.

To put it in point form:
- My car was a color that required high maintenance, so the first thing I did in the month when I got my car I went up sierraglow right away to "protect" it.
- "Glow" and "Water beading effect" didn't even last a year. The smoothness only lasted few months. Not even half a year.
- "5 years warranty" was BS. You think he will REDO your car if the"so-called" glow didn't last? Nah. I tried. He only pretended to touch touch my car and apply some products and used a clay bar to rub my paint and told me to feel the paint. Yeah obviously it's smooth after he clay-bared it. And he just told me to buy a clay bar and clay bar my car every once awhile.

Like WTF? Isn't the whole point of paying him few hundred for the fcking "glow" so I do not have to worry about these things??? Anyway, the car was sold.

One thing I'll give it to Choong. He's a very good sales-talker and marketing bull shitter.

Selling products more than 10 times it's original price. All he does is just hide the product brand names and claim it's from a certain country which I won't mention.

Worse thing was, I found the product that does the exact thing that sierra glow uses to "glow" or so called "protect" your ride, at its original price in a local car store, after I sold my conti. My heart sank.

You're better off keeping the money, and use it for the many other cheaper/regular methods of vehicle body paint maintenance.

To the ones who did SG and feel offended by my post, I dont care. Enjoy your money spent.
