I'm not a sifu, just a high school student (and lowyat silent reader lol). Your question may become a subject of laughter, honestly. But it's a good question though. Anyway, all turbocharged engines in the world have their turbos run PERMANENTLY. It's a vital mechanical of a turbocharged engine. No such thing as "turbo off" or whatever. The concept is similar to supercharger but turbos work differently.

To give you an idea...
Normal engine are just like our nose. Engine take outside air, burn, CO2 out.
Turbo/supercharged engine.. imagine your nose is a vacuum cleaner lol. Suck more air = more oxygen = bigger bang in the engine = more power and torque.

It doesn't really work like that of course, just to give you an idea of it's function icon_rolleyes.gif

Well nobody would want to cabut the turbo and go to dyno laugh.gif

Maybe gotta wait for the new Proton "GSC". Kedai kopi says it uses NFE engine for the top spec (essentially the NA version of CFE)
