The idea is to aim at hitting the peak torque RPM after you shift.

QUOTE(sanadi @ Apr 21 2014, 10:17 AM) I have Torque and bluetooth OBD2 adaptor. In clear air, cruising at 80 kph, the Intake Air Temp (IAT) is 40*C. During traffic jams, it goes to 75*C. That seems quite hot, but once you start moving it quickly goes down back to 40*C. May I know where you get the OBD2 from? Local or ebay? |

sanadi Thanks, that's very useful.
In my case, unfortunately it seems I have ordered something similar. The new version is v2.1 IINM. But, these are all cloned anyway, since an original ELM327 costs much more. This post has been edited by alexei: May 7 2014, 09:06 AM |

arthur88Perhaps I'll try Petron. I hide the brands to avoid coming up on google search, and I'm sure the readers know what we're talking about.
I'm testing the 2nd half tank theory with my current car, Exora Bold CFE, roll up at 4th refuel I got 10.66L/100km. Later test with 1st half tank and see. On the elevation: Google keyword: Penang, Elevation = 9' 10" (3.00 m) Other links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Town,_Penang (4m) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geography_of_Kuala_Lumpur (Average 21.95 m) This post has been edited by alexei: Apr 28 2014, 02:54 PM |

New cars are aligned in factory, but bearing new parts, they require running in. Running in new cars incur cost, and production hours.

QUOTE(kulatkia @ Apr 29 2014, 01:53 PM) kind of make sense... just a bit fussy when required to visit SC frequently... is that also apply to other car manufacturer? so far i didn't heard my fren have this approach, i meant my fren are rich and getting non-national car Running in aside, I think new Proton car already needs alignment, even if they were done in factory.I think it's the manufacturing practise to produce consistent quality output, which Toyota is famous for. Take example a Vios I've seen recently, new number plate, drove up to the alignment station and didn't need adjustment. I could see the car owner's pride on his face. |
