Guys, I have some doubts.

1. Preve 2014 is pre or post ANCAP?
2. Preve 2014 is better than the previous generation?
3. Why there is CFE engine? As I know 2013/2014 is +IAFM engine. Which one is better?
4. AT or MT is better? I plan to take MT because AT is underpower? Is there any problems face in MT so far?
5. Maintenance / service cost?

Please enlighten me. Thank you!

1. 2014 all is ANCAP which is all preve come with 6airbag, ETC
2. ANCAP is better
3. CFE is come with low pressure turbo, all IAFM+ is without turbo
4. AT for IAFM+ is underpower

Take CFE bro... the extra does worth and for such a heavy car... you'll need better output also

The IAFM+ is also a comfortable cruiser, thanks to the CVT's low ratio.

Manual users however... cry.gif

Why MT users are crying?

Im a Preve Exec IAFM+ ownner. I enjoy the ride.

n i agree with what preveverp says. as i used to own a mazda lantis which convert to a 1.8T engine. nice power, but high maintaince cost.

As the 1.6 provide me a balance power and leisure. as buying the preve is for daily driving purpose. is go easy on the road.

Anyway, cheers to all hv a nice day

At first I thought of getting MT Exec, because of the budget. The turbo premium seems tempting too. And now I don't know which to choose. sweat.gif

manual owner here, quite satisfied with the car. can easily reach 150.
but the car is reallyy heavy(u can feel it) and fc is not tht convenient.
2nd gear is really slow.

only got some minor defect tht can be refer to SC.

other than tht, nothing.

What do you mean 2nd gear is slow? You bought a 2014 model or older?

Guys, I am reaching 1000KM soon. Does anyone from Melaka? Which SC is good? The SA recommended me to go to SC Taman IKS Merdeka. What kind of engine oil is better? The recommendedation by Proton is 10w30 APL SM grade engine oil. But after reading some posts, I am confused whether to use fully or semi and 5w30, 10w30 or 10w40.

Anyone can help?

That day high rev my Preve CVT , for the first time I wind down my windows while high revving, and straight away smell something like burning smell. Shocked me

Anyone experience before? I worry it's clutch slip.. But so far few days already when I lift my foot off the brake, the clutch still engaging because car still will move forward without pressing throttle..

But I check some comments on Google they say may be the catalytic converter heating up? car is already 12,000km+

Is it new car? My car has the burning smell too on first day. After a few days, the smell disappeared.
