Hey, I have an issue here before i go for some checking in the service center.

I own a non-turbo auto preve.

Just recently, I can here a heavy sound "clak" for everyt time of approaching the first 40km/h after a cold start.
I've been observing this for approx 3 weeks already. There will be no other sound after this situation until another cold start, it would repeat.
I wonder what is the problem, did u guys have this kind of problem and how u guys deal with it?
*
Sounds like engine knocking. What most of us did was we changed to different petrol biggrin.gif

most probably will place my booking on the exec ncap version tmr.

any one kind enough to suggest if i shall proceed with it or u turn? =)

I believe if many are online tonight, you'll get advice to think if it's possible for you to stretch your budget to get a CFE instead. To us, the extensive boost of power is really worth it biggrin.gif

But, in the end it falls on how you are going to use the car, if mixture of city driving and highway, I think it's still a viable car to drive biggrin.gif Just watch on the FC, this car is always hungry. But above all, you get a top notch safety, compared to other cars in the segment and price bracket icon_rolleyes.gif

Anybody feels the car going through humps.. feels like engine dropping off?

I mean you have to really slow down the car a lot.. although the impact is still to be felt.
*
Well Preve's suspension is not comfort-oriented laugh.gif

Compared to the turbo version of coz. LOL. The sentence was pretty direct.
I'll be lurking here often as I'm torn between Persona or Preve (not so soon.. maybe 2-3 months from now) .. after taking Almera out of my options. Been 10 years driving the trusty ol' Saga with no major hiccups . I guess another gamble with proton won't hurt.
*
I don't think you'll be disappointed with the performance of Preve, especially the new CFE. What you can expect, however, are minor rattlings but none cannot be fixed either by SC or yourself smile.gif

How about the thickness? How many inch?
I think I will go with original.
Next item on my list. thumbup.gif
*
I'm satisfied with the original mats (part of accessories for Preve 2013), it's thicker than most aftermarket mats. When I try to shift it back to normal position, I can feel the weight and that's a good sign biggrin.gif

Time flies

WOW V20 liao. Long time no check-in.  sweat.gif

Thank you :3mushy:3. notworthy.gif

My veve is now welcoming second anniversary. Gone are the days where people taking spy shots of my veve while I was driving or parking and be interviewed by strangers when I got down from my veve.

Now I can easily find 3 veve in a row on the highway or in town road. Good la, more veve more parts production and can keep veve spare part cost low.
Keep it up guys!  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif  rclxm9.gif

I don't know about others, but during my time last year, I managed to have the experience of being asked by strangers about my car, twice biggrin.gif They asked how this car was, and Preve's tagline 'Drive It to Believe It' fit perfectly cool2.gif

The only thing I don't like about the wood panel is that it's too glossy and attracts dust like nobody's business.

Use furniture spray like Pledge. Dust won't attract. Can also try some anti static spray.

changed after market bulb then. way better than OEM drool.gif

I've mistakenly buy an Osram Night Breaker Unlimited. Shoud've top up a bit and get Philips Diamond Vision or BlueVision sweat.gif
I wanted a white-ish light, not yellow-ish. but still better than what proton gave. more wider spread and brighter
*
Yeah, too much unexpected expenses this month, so have to wait for next month to buy 2 pairs of crystal vision.

Nope... now for 5 years loan

1. National cars 5.25%

2. Other brands 4.8%

3. Recon cars 5%

Starting 18 March 2014, but when I called my friends... most will only start using this figures next week.

So now car salesman are really pushing the sales this week.
*
I don't see how this is going to help out Proton and Produa. Could it be just a hoax? I asked my colleague whose father is a car dealer but he told me he didn't hear anything about it (could be he is still not informed though). hmm.gif

RM1.5k for whole seat, arm rest and door trim.
I did it at CarbiDeco. You can google their website for address.

What I'm worried about leather wrapping is the airbag deployment hmm.gif

Premium looking, if got premium feeling, more comfort ride, I think the price tag RM1.5k is extra worth.
Just wonder did the shop prompt side airbag will works as usual?
how they wrap? on top of original fiber or re-wrap wholeset?

by the way, really nice looking thumbup.gif like it lust.gif
*
Yeah I would want to know too. RM1.5k is worth it, but I put safety much higher than looks.

can maintain 70 to 90 KM/H at the Jeli to Grik stretch without sweating,
just avoid syntium 1000 during service. my car feel heavy using syn1000.

I guess you can check Proton's website to get the list of SC, and call the ones near your area and ask them if they carry Syn 5000 biggrin.gif
