From what I kept reading about Suprima/Preve/Exora FC....yours seem to be the exception than the norm 

maybe he very conservative on boosting? just cruising or something with the turbo still helping on improving efficiency (it works all the time anyways)

then again, he is getting his FC being better than proton's ratings (using suprima, since preve ver is their marketing highway BS ratings, like the inspira one anyways), not to mention using something like xw50 synthium 1000, i am casting huge doubts lol...

or maybe he really drive very unkerly la, which is still very possible, considering i manage to get between 11-12km/l in traffic jam (yeah, i save more fuel while stuck in a jam rofl) and i did pulled a 18km/l which far exceeded proton's overrated ratings

maybe he mastered how to drive CVT (and turbo) as most people have a hard time adapting CVT... (the whole creeping/let the clutch fully bite etc)

want to say unker also cant, remember that trip we had? 

on a side note: my inspira can't match with a preve CFE in terms of acceleration... however around 140-160 kph they will start to lose breath and i will be outrun them
had a run with one white one on MRR2 that looks very beng, with ultra lesing stickers, super dark unable to see through tints lol.

guys. I'm trying to use a different break-in approach recommended by some pals.
But I need to change my engine oil and oil filter at about 40km mileage instead of the first 1000km recommended by the warranty booklet. So, will that void my warranty?

Personally, leave the break in oil,  that's what the 1k km is for.

Then spend a bit more on buying good quality /reputable fully synthetic oil following Proton specifications (especially the viscosity,and not uninformed sc doing something like Synthium 1000)  and service /maintenance schedules.

No point doing extras and you're just going to skimp out on subsequent maintenance which is even more crucial as sludge builds up over time.
Furthermore normal mineral oil would potentially harm the engine more compared to proper break in oil (assuming Proton aren't complete retards in building their engines)  as those usually are of thicker viscosity /higher protection additives (which is why fc are typically bad during this period)

As much as I hate to say this,  Proton engineering probably knows their engine more than layman like you or even myself

R3 rims should be much lighter than the stock 16" rim in preve.. Sometimes, i will wonder how will the fuel consumption will be in use a much lighter 16" rims..

but it should be lighter than my 17" stock.. the 50kg extra wont affect much on the fc.. probably my route is less busy.. and i drive like unker..

racechip, i'm not so inclined. the MAP/MAF controller sparks an interest. but probably beneficial for highway drive/cruising...
some of prosmac and prevoc did the german sausage, and get abit better fc for city driving.

guys. some question:
1. the  remote door lock/unlock how do we enable beep tone?
2. the ESC yellow icon always showing on the meter? isnt it only there if ESC activates?

That day high rev my Preve CVT , for the first time I wind down my windows while high revving, and straight away smell something like burning smell. Shocked me

Anyone experience before? I worry it's clutch slip.. But so far few days already when I lift my foot off the brake, the clutch still engaging because car still will move forward without pressing throttle..

But I check some comments on Google they say may be the catalytic converter heating up? car is already 12,000km+

anyone know where to find good car accessories shop? planned to buy few things for my car(car handle chrome, window viser, etc). And also mind to share about the coil mat? and also is it okey to change the lights to white or use the stock ones 1st?

Just wondering if any of the owner can advise what will be the expected mileage for 1 full tank with below route :
1. KL to PJ via federal highway. p/s u know i know la federal highway,jam jam jam.
2. PJ to KL via NPE & Sg Besi and jalan tun razak. P/s after working hours so kinda jam as well, but NPE is most of the time quiet empty 

With my current ride for rm70 i hit like 320km max..and thats like for a week on above route. Any clue? Or its just not the appropriate way to measure this way?
