Repairing wise and spare parts price...
Persona of course will be better due to the numbers are much more on the road.

CFE expect for higher maintenance due to parts used are also more advance.

One notable item is Electric Water Pump.... costs RM6xx vs the one in Persona around RM100 (normal water pump).

Spark Plug for CFE is still high but people tend to forget when Campro was launched. the spark plug was not cheap too..

Hopefully more CFEs around will bring down the price.. when big manufacturers like Bosch/Denso produce it.. followed by local importers bringing them

Proton produce the car but that does not mean they produce all the parts.

For example they do not manufacture spark plugs.

When we speak of global cars, it's only a global cars for Proton but the fact is Vios/Almera are more "globalized" due to the number of units sold.

Big manufacturers will need volume to justify if they should participate in the market for that particular's cars products. Importer will also need "MOQ" to justify if they should import those things with good price.

Good handling, and apart from the fittings I don't particularly like the low-frequency growl from the Turbo engine and the CVT whine. In other words, the loud engine and CVT sound during acceleration. Rebadged Lancer is Inspira? Perhaps the design of the Inspira is copied from the Mitsubishi Lancer and as such chances of rattling sound from loose fittings or poor QAQC may be lower.

i think its the 2 piece of steel that ran across the rear bonet is the cause as i found them rubbing against each other

I dont really get in on why they put such a exposed part like that that is held up with just a rubber stopper

anybody experience some problem with the gear knob? mine....the grey plastic part just come off....seems like something broke....can't stick it back now....anyway, anyone know the price to get replacement? is it possible to get the grey plastic part or do i have to get the entire gear knob?

It was past few months time but yet i receive nothing regarding the extended 2 yrs warranty certificate from proton. before i approach i-care, may i know if all of you did received yours one and how long it take delivered to your door after you collected your Preve? Many thx in advance!

Rest assured that all new Proton Preve comes with 5 years warranty. Manual book printed 3 years but another certification will be sent to your address which comes with extended 2 years warranty.
