Repairing wise and spare parts price...
Persona of course will be better due to the numbers are much more on the road.

CFE expect for higher maintenance due to parts used are also more advance.

One notable item is Electric Water Pump.... costs RM6xx vs the one in Persona around RM100 (normal water pump).

Spark Plug for CFE is still high but people tend to forget when Campro was launched. the spark plug was not cheap too..

Hopefully more CFEs around will bring down the price.. when big manufacturers like Bosch/Denso produce it.. followed by local importers bringing them
*
more on the road that will bring down the spare part's price??
Preve is quoted as Global car and having export to various countries(although sale not much), suppose to be lots of spare parts been produced and standby else they gonna break their own commitment again to outside world... so will it still consider higher maintenance or Proton still act the conventional way... let it be tongue.gif

btw how ab if we compare Civic, Altis versus Preve, i meant the spare part portion? any idea?

Proton produce the car but that does not mean they produce all the parts.

For example they do not manufacture spark plugs.

When we speak of global cars, it's only a global cars for Proton but the fact is Vios/Almera are more "globalized" due to the number of units sold.

Big manufacturers will need volume to justify if they should participate in the market for that particular's cars products. Importer will also need "MOQ" to justify if they should import those things with good price.

YES, any modification that done to the car besides factory settings will definitely VOID the car warranty.
BUT,

I assume rims and body kit not void right? Btw 10% off for Preve LE body kit is worth or not?

Have you managed to sort out the kruk kruk sound?

Good handling, and apart from the fittings I don't particularly like the low-frequency growl from the Turbo engine and the CVT whine. In other words, the loud engine and CVT sound during acceleration. Rebadged Lancer is Inspira? Perhaps the design of the Inspira is copied from the Mitsubishi Lancer and as such chances of rattling sound from loose fittings or poor QAQC may be lower.

yeah, i'm keen to know as well.. mine have as well but still failed to locate were this ignoring kruk kruk sound from cry.gif

i think its the 2 piece of steel that ran across the rear bonet is the cause as i found them rubbing against each other

I dont really get in on why they put such a exposed part like that that is held up with just a rubber stopper  doh.gif

whats d purpose of coil mat?
*
for me it just good to have collecting your shoe's dust and dirt so that easy for u to clean the car and to avoid contaminate your carpet. btw if this doesn't useful or bother, u can even not to get it place inside your car... i was told by SA why latest Preve not come with coil mat that's due to it block partial of fuel paddle level when press, and lots of owner miss-claimed Preve underpower haha... but i'm not sure how true is true.. i just listen and accept biggrin.gif
may Sifu in this forum correct me if i'm wrong notworthy.gif

Get a HDD's magnet and place around it. It might help

As long as you do not waste any money on "magnetrap"
*
great..thx bro rclxms.gif . at least it helps protect engine, i'm fine with this action... btw if i understand correctly some of the car models may not help right? such as Nissan sylphy which engine made by aluminum material(told by Nissan SA). or it just engine cover only and try to archive its weight reduction effect? hmm.gif
