which EO is fuel economy? Mine current consumption for full tank (about RM90-RM95 for Ron95) is 450-480km.
*
if its possible, use any EO with 30 at the back.. will be less viscous at high temperature and the new engine can run better without friction. so, less fuel consumed.. 450-480km is average.. for me, mostly highway runs, 600-700km is very much possible..

preve fc bad? rclxub.gif

Totally depending on your right foot.. never before my average fuel consumption went more than 9l/100km except for current full tank run at top speed and uphill to genting before this..

guys pls give honest opinion. Saga FLX, Preve or myvi? i need to decide by end of this week
*
Saga FLX - B-segment sedan (same segment with; Vios, Almera, City, Polo Sedan etc)
Preve - C-segment sedan (same segment with; Civic, Sylphy, Altis, Focus Sedan etc)
Myvi - Hatchback

You ask here, of course we will tell go for Preve. U ask the same ques in Saga forum and Myvi forum, they will tell the same accordingly. Buy a car based on your needs, budget, and features of the car.

QUOTE(SportyHandling @ May 31 2014, 11:00 AM)
For Preve Turbo owners, do you notice that the vehicle registers better fuel economy when you drive at speeds below 90km/h? Yesterday I was driving between 70km/h to 90km/h along the highway (I rarely drive at these speeds), and the electronic mileage meter that shows the kilometres left before the fuel tank is empty doesn't nudge much even though I have driven for more than 30km??! The meter shows 420km left before the fuel tank is empty, and I was driving for like 20km+ and the 420km remains as it is, going down to 419km then 418km after I have driven close to 30km.

My usual driving speeds are 110km/h to 140km/h and the mileage meter drops rapidly at these speeds.

It appears that the optimum speed in registering good FC with this Preve Turbo is below 90km/h? Between 80km/h to 90km/h. The fuel meter doesn't seem to drop much when cruising at these speeds.

Does anybody share the same observation?
*
Tested that at 80KM/H.. the mileage meter will increase even if you drive carefully right after fuelling up.. that was how i registered less then 5l/100km driving from seremban rnr to serendah, highway all the way until sg.buaya exit.. fuel efficiency will be very good if driving below 2k rpm.. but too slow wont do the trick.. the sweet spot is around 70-90km/h

how about for executive model?
*
It would be much better than CFE as Exec engine is not turbocharged. So, practically, it would return a very much better fuel economy than Premium model.

Hmm? you do double tint?
The ori eco tint was very good and expensive stuff man
*
Yeah i know.. haha.. just prefer it darker that is why the need for double tinting. anyways, chances for the tinting to be ruined is very unlikely. That is why proceeded for the second tint.

i read the above review, mostly ppl recommend this car as the safety feature... and all complaint is the service center attitude and professional level... and service car normally takes almost a day to complete and facing parts issue ? really? local car local parts even 3S also hv stock problem ?
*
Never had to be in the service centre for the whole day. most was around 2-3 hours time.. Usual service will 30 mins-1 hour..

I'm getting my father a 2013 Preve Exec MT Soft Lilac with 6k discount. Asked the SA, it is ANCAP version with 6 airbags etc.

Is all the features stated in the website correct? Auto headlamps? Side mirror got button to fold?

http://proton-edar.com.my/en/Models/Preve/...ion%20Page.aspx
*
Wow.. Thats a big sum for discount for EXEC model.. There will be no auto headlamps for Exec, only manual on and off. Side mirror there is button to fold and unfold.. But it will not automatically fold when u lock the car.
