Hi Preve owners, I am also considering joining the club. I am also looking to upgrade mty ride to the Preve 1.6 Exec CVT (Non-CFE). Currently my ride is the Saga FL Manual Executive. My concerns are as follows:
1. CVT noise - how bad is this or its bearable? 2. Engine Noise - compare with my Saga, I guess I can accept this.. 3. Power and pick-up - consulted with SA, recommended me to go for CFE but I do not have the budget. Is the pick-up really bad? I did not want to go for test drive as the one they have is a CFE and is not the model I am looking at. 4. FC - they say the normal CVT model drinks quite a fair bit but if go outstation is good - similar to my Saga FL? Do please give comment/your thoughts on the above. I am very keen to upgrade to the Preve. Thanks |

This is because Preve is a heavy car 4. If go outstation and with minimal traffic, fuel consumption should be ok. |

The only reason I chose Preve because it's a Sedan....If Sedan/Hatchback is not your concern, the Suprima S has more luxury feel with its finishing compare to the Preve... but of course being priced much higher contributes to the extras you do not get with the Preve. |

Then change the panel finishing later on outside TBH, I pick Preve because of sedan type. But I would love to get my hands on leather brake lever, leather gear knob, leather seat, and bigger entertainment screen. Combine all that cost to replace would be pricier than changing the panel finishing I think EDIT: Beside, Suprima S doesn't look nice on R3 Bodykit. Preve looks more fierce! I have the other way round of thinking.. the dashboard in Preve is more prone to finger print compare to the Surpima's....But really this is individual preference too. Entertainment System for me is useless because 2 years down the road I will change it too... All stock HUs that come with the car will never be "decent".. As again the price diff by quite a lot so you can use that to upgrade but things gonna bother you is to try keep the warranty intact. Rim wise Suprima has 17" while that may look nice but comes changing tyre will cost a bomb. |

Look like Suprima S suits you better ....One thing most Preve owners will dislike is the Gear Knob.. feeling too plasticky.. Suprima has leather wrapped at the side.... it gives an overall more premium feel whenever you touch on it. |

Wanna keep the car at stock look and not prone to accessories stuff, my advice go for Suprima S.Its a major refinement from Preve CFE but well not much different from 2014 CFE but still much better. Leather seats-console lid-gear knob, DRL, better HU & speakers, Hill Hold Assist, etc etc and there's still 1 feature that keep it different from Preve CFE, forgot what it is . . . Cons from my POV, - the ass uhmmm, like davidlow7 said, need some time for us to swallow up. - 17" tyre size, wallet pain when wanna change it.
