Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail

As the above, which one of them is the best?
Pls post your opinion here cos i need to choose one of them to be my primary mail acc.
Actually i am using 3 of them and the mail i need to check is too much
So, i wan to focus on one mail acc now.

IMO, i think that gmail is not bad and i like to use it's calender.
But the real problem that makes me don wan to use it is it cant move the mail into the folder. It only allows us to label it.
That mean i need to went thru about 500 mails in the inbox with all the mail like rojak.

About yahoo, everything is ok but it only give us 1GB of storage... now i already used 40% of it..

Windows Live Mail(hotmail) is better than b4 and it offer 2GB of space and other innovative feature like drag n drop.. etc
But the streamyx at my place always have bad connection to the mail server. Which makes me mad.gif cos login alone already used 1 min. No need to mention about open mail already. And this always occur everymonth for a few days

Thats my 2 cents

How about urs?

New Windows Live hotmail the interface always giving me trouble, never state mailbox usage anymore (I think the 2gb maybe is a lie, since I can't see it).

I prefer hotmail. Somehow, I have been using since 6 or 7 years ago and I find it easy to use. I still remember last time my mail memory started with 2MB, then 25MB then now 2GB. laugh.gif

The new Yahoo Mail beta interface is slicker and definitely better than GMail or WLM.

Still using WLM though because of Custom Domain service, which Yahoo should have provided too.

Labelling/tagging is slowly replacing folder.
https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer....=en&answer=6578

for me, gmail > yahoo (old) > hotmail/WLM

speed: gmail > yahoo > hotmail
ads: gmail > yahoo > hotmail
interface: gmail > yahoo > hotmail

WLM is just plain sux. i have no idea wth they put the damn ad at the top. bcoz of that, the viewing area is reduced. and the message list area is damn small. and its extremely slow!

Been using GMail since it was beta (ah wait....it's still beta right? laugh.gif)

Personally i'm not a big fan of other Google proggies (GTalk, Google Earth, Google Calendar etc), but I'm fine with GMail

Innovative features, big storage, simple UI...

1 noob question here.

GMail seems to have every mail in the inbox, although I have filter them into seperate special folder when the mail came. Why the inbox still have the mail? Not like yahoo mail. Tat's the part when I start to use Gmail and I dun like already.

But then, I do very love the storage. As my yahoo mail reaching it's max capacity already. Start to worry already

GMail is not using Folder concept, it's using "Tag" concept, you just tag it but not physically move it (like LYN tag)

If you don't want to see it in inbox, in your filter you have to tick this option

- Skip the Inbox (Archive it)

I like Yahoo webmail becoz it's fast and it provides 2GB of space. It's user-friendly.. ez for those who're still new to learn/discover it. Meanwhile, I like Gmail becoz of its super large space.. and its POP service. I'm currently using Thunderbird to get my Gmail emails. It's fast n convenient too biggrin.gif But I dont really support Hotmail.. becoz the space provided is obviously small and dunno why, it takes long time for my pc to load hotmail.com. furthermore, I registered hotmail acc. last time becoz I thought I need to have one hotmail to register a msn messenger .net acc. That's how i get all my 3 emails. LOL xP

I use Gmail email for some online e-currency security notification.

The notification is sent to the email address registered to validate the login.

Thus, was not able to login as could not receive the email.

Finally I have solved the issue but not on Gmail.

I have 2 Gmail email addresses and one of it has no problem at all. I believe the one that I am having problem now is on different server.

Now I should consider other alternative free email service provider.... may be gawab or yahoo?

I doubt there is much mail server support that.
Even you can send, the other party might not be able to receive it.

I suggest you to either use FTP or use temporary hosting service like YouSendIt.com

www.rapidshare.de is the best.. upload to server... pass the links to ya friend to download.

www.sendspace.com also is cool..

The website FAQ is there for some reason isn't it?

Even if it's not FAQ it must be stated somewhere
