alright just so to prove the Mexico method is working for anyone who's still abit cautions for using this method. It's proven working for many cases I've seen before for other games since Battlefield 3, i guess. And for those who are lazy to watch the video, here's a few really simple steps to follow.

1. Change your Origin account password to a temporary password, please note that we are using proxy to proceed with the following method, so if you logged in to any sites while on proxy, please be careful. YOU WERE WARNED.

2. Switch to Mexico proxy using this following methods.

2.1 Go to this WEBSITE and there will be a list of IP address and ports. Choose any with the lowest ping as possible, and take note to choose those with ports number 80 or 8080, others might work, but for Malaysia I think TMnuts will work with those 2 ports only.

2.2 Go to your PC's Control Panel>Internet Options>Connections>LAN settings.

2.3 Under Proxy server category check the "Use a proxy server for your LAN......." box, and under Address place the Mexico address from the previous website, and with the adjacent Port number on the Port textbox. Click OK.


3. Go to your web browser and go to Origin's website. Right upfront on their website you should see this:

if it says US$16.99, then you're fine.

4. Proceed to add to cart and checkout.

5. Turn off proxy simply by going back to your internet properties and uncheck the  "Use a proxy server for your LAN......." checkbox that we previously checked. Change back your Origin password first for safety precautions.

6. PROFIT.

p/s Do note that you're advised to use paypal to checkout, as I've tried to natively use my CIMB Debit Card as payment but it rejected my purchase and still charged me around RM3 for whatever reasons.  But if you're experienced with PayPal, then you're fine:)
