hi guy,

Currently i just start overclock my system but face problem and suspect my ram is the issue, everytime i overclock my gskill HX 2GB rams speed to DDR420 the system would reboot not going to window if lower down to original speed DDR400 then is okie but problem is this ram should have no problem overclock to this clockspeed DDR420 according in the web anyway i using divider to make possible to overclock my CPU(opty 170)to 2.2GHZ(temporary)so i hope someone can help me on this...below is my system spec.

Opty 170 CCBWE 0609FPAW at 2.2GHZ(using Ninja Heatsink with silverstone 12MM Fanspeed at RPM2100)
Gskill HX 2GB DDR400(brought from dinster)
PSU - FSP 500W(brought from dinster)
DFI NF4 ultra-D Bios revision date is 14/11/2005


so if ppl can suggest or let me know what is my problem currently i facing..

may be the ram voltage is no enough

i thinks the ram it using is infineon CE-5 so for voltage how much is increase in consider safe???

try 2.8v ....

Hynix rams? try higher Vdimms...might solve it....
