Has anyone experienced fraudulent charges to his Wise card? I had it yesterday, received SMS at 14.49hr saying my Card was debited RM200 at Petrol Station (at my regular kiosk).

First i thought it could be some late SMS for my last transaction. My last usage was 21.3.2014 as I had achieved my target Cash Rebate RM100 for the month. So the card was in my drawer since then.


But when i called up the CS at 1930 hr, i was shocked to know that my card was 'used' at that kiosk yesterday. How much the amount she doesnt know as need a few days to see in on screen.

Now all the hassle, cancel the card and get new replacement, sigh.......hopefully no charges to me, no new GST no AF and cancel the fraudulent charges..

so watch out guys, the SMS alert is not to be taken lightly!

the card was with me all the time , locked in my drawer , no one could access it. Never out of my sight all the time when swiped at Grocery and kiosk at pump only.

Actually that was what i thought also, a mistake in SMS. But the silly HL system showed that card was swiped and RM200 withheld for petrol that day. But till now there is no charges on online checking. Likely to be a system mistake, but the CS already cancelled off my card, SOP she said, now waiting for replacement, what a hassle if there is really no fraud.

Why the HL system so silly could not even tell transaction done or not done on that day? Mistake on SMS not enough, mistake into the system showing transaction on the day i did not even use that card!

Wise card 10% rebate is NOT calculated for that month based on TRANSACTION date.

Instead of admitting mistake and apologize , you kept on insisting your are right - arrogant yet stupid.

It is NOT based on transaction date. IT is based on posting date.

So if you swipe a qualified transaction at the end of month (last 1-2 day) , that transaction would not count in that month.

Today is 26.4.14 already, i have not completed my 10th transaction. From all my previous statements, 2 days already enough to get the transaction posted. So tomorrow i swipe the remaining RM375 , i expect to get the RM100 max CB.
Spend on 27.4.14 should get them posted on 29.4.14 as per all my previous records.

in that case you need 2 Wise cards- there is promotion now, get your spouse to apply for it- get ZERO interest 6m BT, AF Waived, GST refunded and you spend RM1500 in 60days get a Car trip video recorder!

i dont see AF charge so far in my statement.Started to use Wise card since Jan 2013, also never use on outside category.
Now got promo going to apply Wise card on my wife's name.

but could not find the answer so far.

i use Gold wise card started in Jan 2013, so far no AF charge in my statement. GST was charged RM50 on 31.1.2014.

HLB rm told me now got promo for supp cards. apply for 2 supp cards, swipe once each, no gst no af, can get a free bag. any one applied?

admit mistake what's so difficult? Dont always be paranoid of others's intention.
