Hong Leong screwed up my Connect account. Pretty sure their recent system upgrades reset my password AND my pin number so I can't reset the account myself. Had to request for them to send another pin to me.
Anyway found this weird. Has anyone been to Nutmeg cafe in Bangsar? I can't for the world fathom how it isn't categorised under dining. The only MCC code that dining isn't applicable to would me for drinking places. It doesn't serve alcohol as far as I know so its not a drinking place. I called hong Leong and they told me they are unable to check what the MCC code is for this place. Even Starbucks is listed under dining!

QUOTE(tifosi @ Apr 8 2014, 06:05 PM) Nutmeg DO serve wine. It's frustrating when you do not know the MCC code. It happened to me many times. Now I avoid using (in my case MACH card) at any restaurant that offers alcohol. Recently I got caught at Good Batch @ Uptown and Jocks @ Dataran Prima. Oh well. Didn't strike me as a place that serves wine. But still, it's most definitely not a drinking place. The main draw are desserts and food! I've been to places where alcohol is served and its still classified under dining. El Cerdo is one such place. La Risata too, and I'm sure there are many others. So yeah, it's annoying when you don't know what the MCC code is. Fuzio is one where they serve alcohol but doesn't exactly look like a drinking hole, but it's not under dining. For such borderline cases I don't really mind if its not under dining. It's just that Nutmeg is perplexing, how it can be under drinking place, which I would think would be reserved for bars and pubs.
