Activity is a bit low on Chinese flashing forums, but I found someone did CWM 6.0.4.7, however the comments seem to indicate that it was not successful

oh ya.. i'm curious, my unit came with a screen protector already attached on the screen, out of box.. you guys having the same? and i wonder where can buy tempered glass screen protector for this phablet
*
Yes there's sp out of the box but it won't stop fingerprints
Tempered glass sp won't fit perfectly… The top left and right edges will have some sort of small gap left behind. All the sellers blame the screen not flat

All ROM still in 4.2. Got news in China 4.4 will be released for this device. We just have to wait

Note that as of now, probably due to lack of init.d support, root is not 100%.

Meaning, some things can't be done like Xposed, scripting, and even Swiftkey languages are not permanent.

Things like Titanium work fine though.

do u all use any bluetooth device with this phablet? Seems too big to be used as a phone and I've used Z Ultra before, this is even bigger.

Any recommendations for a bluetooth device that performs like a mini phone?

Asus used to have a companion device with one of their Memopads about 2 years ago which was a mini bluetooth dialer. Otherwise make.believe SB520 headset I think.

I propose a Jabra Tag.

sony SBH50 maybe, quite cheap and practical, with more budget, get SBH52. as for me i'm still trying to get used with it.. same goes to me, this feels very much bigger than XZU.. dunno why.. fact its just 0.6" bigger, but this feel like a tablet than a phone.. but XZU still feels like a phone
