I am using a XZU now n no hurry to change it
I am hoping for a black unit n will only buy white if no choice
Huawei normally offer some freebies for new phone launches
Prices offered now by 3rd party sellers will definitely drop further over next 2 weeks

N7 is just a tablet n it cannot make calls
Closest comparison will be with those Tabs ( those that can make calls) n XZU

Just found out that similar to Ascend Mate this phablet you can choose default internal storage as ext sdcard (up to 64gb) . No need root

Mine is local LTE - perfect and smooth youtube playback. I am using latest youtube version 5.7.36

Hate and has never like chrome but will test it out
Just tested , no playback issue /problem at all on 9gagtv

The phone comes with a crappy piece of SP installed. After I remove it screen smoothness very much improved. Scolling lag gone in file manager app

No problem. I have my wife account added too

Only yesterday

Rooted my set with root genius program. Very quick and easy. Took less than half a minute to do it
But after root supersu app not displayed . So I just installed it from playstore
Tested n root working well on root explorer, titanium backup, eas backup

It comes default with it already installed . Better to take it off as lousy quality
I bought from SS2 Atlantis Comm for rm1180

Actually not worth to buy 3g as is only rm100 cheaper

You won't look funny using the phone
It is only marginally bigger than XZU

There is no significant differences between the 2 firmwares. Infact kitkat has more restrictions on writing to ext sdcard... So I don't miss kitkat at all.
Anyway this phone will get kitkat in time
I regretted update the XZU to kitkat as iI find phone was better on jellybean
This phone much better than Mega in practically most areas. Mega is only a midend specs phone
I always replace default UI to Nova... Had never like phone default UI
Only white available for sale

The display looks very very much better than XZU. But again display preferences differ from person to person
Amoled colors are known to be more faked than real

Try buying online from superbuy, lazada, directd - these are all reliable online sellers
Huawei online site vmall also selling but at rm1399

Laggy is subjective. I suggest you test it yourself
Personally I find it very smooth n lag if any is negligible
Will post some pics next few days
Hadn't take any serious pics but few tests show camera is very snappy n fast

The audio quality I have no complains. It trounces the XZU greatly. Even though speakers are at back the sound is crisp n clear n sufficiently loud too. No idea on x3s quality. I would say those who wish to buy this will solely for its display quality n size.

So far no issue at all with my apps...all those on my XZU, LG pad n ex Note3 works
However I have no comments on games app as I don't install these much. Only games I have on the phone is asphalt 6, Riptide, Templerun, Angry birds ...tested these all OK. Anyway games only for my son when he is back n want to play with the phone.
Any particular app you are interested in??
