Guys, I've been playing World of warcraft for 5 years. Concept of the game is very good but game is quite old, video quality cannot match today's game, cant fully utilize my latest video card. Is there any other game similar to this? I want to stop WoW for a while.

QUOTE(huoshenfeng124 @ Mar 7 2014, 02:07 PM) for example like guild wars graphics wise is superb but the game plays getting sucks everyday you forgot to add "in my humble opinion" to that sentence. just because you think the "game play getting sucks everyday" does not mean everyone else thinks the same as you. Informationiacif you enjoy wow type game play, perhaps you may enjoy rift which may have similar game play mechanics to wow.

ive play shitload of mmorpg. guild wars 1 n 2, ragnarok 1 n 2, tera, warframe, ffxiv, swtor, and many more.. but nothing beats wow. ro2 raid system is ALMOST similar to wow but due to the bug and exploit, people left.
i quit wow right after lich king expansion came out due to uni. recently got back and it is still fun. the quest is even funnier in pandaria.

QUOTE(spacelion @ Mar 8 2014, 03:03 PM) Which part of WOW do you like best? Is it the raiding, the pvp, or the questing? First is the raiding and then auctions, and especially professions. You can make so much gold from it to auctions. The most time taken for me when not raiding is leveling a professions and make epic items. If you are bored you can do PVP with friends. and get PVP gear. Not just about grinding same enemy all the time to get specific item. I played RO, but i think is different in game concept.

If you are looking for organized raiding like WoW, you will not find that in GW2. What you get is open world boss that usually have about 30 ppl for smaller boss and over 100 for bigger scale boss. PVP is very different as well since the BG is a 200vs200 siege battle. And top tier items in GW2 is very very hard to craft compared to WoW and may take you weeks even months to do so. Gears are kind of equal to each other stat wise with ascended items being marginally better. Legendaries are just skins that looks awesome.

Try Final Fantasy XIV then w but for now PvP in FFXIV a little sucks, waiting on Frontline, a similar to GvG type, but not like GW2
The way FFXIV is setup is a little similar to WoW, and it should be easy enough for you to transition into the game without being control awkwardly.

FFXIV raiding is a lot less engaging than WOW's. this i agree, but that because the content on raiding is really low compare to giant wow w. so it may take time anyway. CoB it self is the only End Game that is much engaging atm. ofcoz unless when ur already practice much. is simple. just like WoW.

WoW is the first game to have an instance raid and probably the most intricate and well designed raid ever. All the ones before it is just a zerg fest.
So WoW will never die and I believe they can only kill themselves.

There is a common "problem" for certain people, where the first few MMO he played, will be the longest MMO he ever stayed with. And it's really hard to move away from it.
5 years, I will say, why don't take a break. No I don't mean stop playing; but just play things for fun.
Pickup any games, have fun with it for a short time, if felt too repetitive at times, or the online community not suitable for yourself, then move on to others. Just play games casually.
Trying to find a perfect replacement for a game that you stick on for so many years, is, almost impossible. I tried, and fail.
