Hi all apples fan and gurus...may i ask you all something? i'm upgrading my emac power pc g4's ram...it only has 128 sdram...i am thinking to go for another 128 sdram..but my question is the ram is 128 133sdram..so can i use pc's 128 133sd ram? or do i need to find a specific ram for mac? please help me coz i had to install keynote 3 inside of it...waaaaa....help.....

im using Kingstone Value Ram in my G4 & G3 PowerMac.

Kingston ValueRAM is a reasonable buy.
Try to stick to 16-chip SDRAMs. If possible (but not necessary), stick to hynix or samsung chipsets.
My past Macs had issues with 8-chip (single sided) RAMs. I've also tested a variety of chipset brands, and concluded that hynix & samsung has the best compatibility.

My mac never faced an problem with Kingston RAM, so hopefully you'll be same

thanx all u guys...but the sales person from CG computers(authorized dealer for mac in penang) told me that they will be a problem if i use other ram than theirs...they quoted me for RM459 for 256 sdram 133mhz!!! such bloodsucker!!!!

Dare to open the eMac case and take out the RAM? Take out the ram and go to any computer shop and ask them the RAM exactly like yours  Other RAM should not be any problem, but sometimes get ready for the kernel panics to appear

Every single RAM in my PMG4 is KVR & Non apple. I see no problem with it.
