What is FICD valve?

Hi all, My Viva recently got MIL light on and I went for checking, the foreman said is FICD valve rosak liao...so need to replace a new one...can I know is this for?

Fast Idling Control Device
FICD, a device that control the engine idling speed. When A/C compressor kicked in, engine load will increase. Engine with faulty FICD will struggle to maintain proper idling speed and tends to stall. |
