Hi, I was looking for a future proof laptop for some time now, as some of you might have reply to me back in the recommendation thread. I was tempted with this but the one thing that gripes me is the justification of the price/specification/performance ratio.

I know that "you pay for what you get" principle, but I just can't seem to find a reason to justify it. For example the Z3 starting price is RM 3799 with 8GB RAM, 500 GB RAM, without RAID, OS and comes with 2 year warranty. But top it up with OS, RAID-1 with 2*128 GB mSATA SSD, 1 TB SSHD, AC WiFi adapter and the price is a whopping RM 5500.

Considering my Toshiba laptop was bought at a price of nearly RM 3000, which the specs may not be as high as the Z3, is there, I mean, seriously, there a justification to the pricing/specification/performance ratio to the point that such a trade off is worth it??
