Hey @PrinceJ, just wondering if my Sager np9150 that I bought from you 3 years ago(mid 2012)can be upgraded to the GTX980m(just wondering if it's possible since it's a Sager that I've bought from you before the RS-15 came out). Cause I'm just a little worry that vBios will get in the way of installing the card(unless it's just swapping out the old card with the new GTX980m card then it's all good).

Okay I recently bought the 980m upgrade for my np9150(RS-15) 2012 model from Illegear and I thought it's plug and play cause when the package arrived it's just the GPU(along with the heatsink and some screw) and nothing else so there's no further instructions on whether I should update the vbios or the EC. After installing the GPU and boot up my laptop, my screen had weird pixelated colour and it's even distorted and resolution would stuck at . I try to install the Nvidia special driver from eurocom & from Nvidia website(this one doesnt read the 980m and its the latest one march 2015). After installing the eurocom driver my screen would hang at the window starting screen not even reach the logon page of window however there is sound and i can login just that the screen would hang. I even reformat my laptop and it still shows the same issues so software is not the issue. At least until I installed back my 7970m then the screen is back to normal. There's also the issue that the heatsink on top on the Nvidia die where you have to screw 4 screws, well one of the screws holder(label 1) is not screw in all the way unlike the rest of it. This is really sad and I was really looking forward to the performance boost. Hopefully @PrinceJ can sort it things out for me
