You mean ultrabook as in gaming model ? I believe there is no ultrabook from ILLEGEAR but if you considered 20mm+- thickness is ultrabook, then there is smile.gif

Hi Azusa,

The RU-14 Pro is ultrabook, the battery life is 6 hours max. with a quad core i7-4770HQ.

By the way,

does Illegear RS-15 support any Linux distros? and dual booting?

any pc is capable to support multiboot / virtualization as long as you have the space for it. if u want to run linux, disable secure boot else it wont load.

I will.

I plugged in a LiteON external DVD player (bought from Illegear), no problem.

But when I plug in the USB HDD, again the same problem. However, I noticed that the USB HDD will power up during boot (and because of that the laptop will refuse to boot because its searching for something to boot via USB, I think)

But when I boot up the pc and plug in the USB HDD, no light. Funny. I plug the same USB HDD in another laptop, works just fine.

Weird.

how about plug in external hdd before power up, then select your boot drive in bios settings, so that your pc can boot to os. hmm.gif
