Savvy-ers, I went to RenauTech yesterday to check my car. Just general check up of the engine and the results were timing belt and coolant changed. They also changed the reverse light bulb. Anyway, since then, everytime i open my door (when the machine is on) the emergency indicator also turned on. Before it wasn't like that. Is this normal? Or the technician accidentally "made" it like that?

Thank u in adv for the reply...

ermm...my savvy emergency signal behave like that since I got the car, not all Savvy should flash emergency signal when the door is opened? how much you change the timing belt?

WAH! 10w30 laugh.gif
0w20 will be fun.

and those 75w80 trans elf J... 1) expensive 2) quite hard to find.
want performance oriented 75w80 also another headache rofl

btw to save your headache, find distilled water.
i purchase my stockpile/carton from Tesco laugh.gif

in other words, either get pure coolant and do a 1:1 mix with distilled water, or just buy premix (usually a bit more expensive, depending on brand/models. the mainstream ones not much difference) and call it a day.

I flushed my coolant, thanks for your info... Now I worry the coolant leak because I open the hose at engine and flex it to drain very hard to access radiator bottom hose... Where was your leak last time? What pipe?

Hi Everyone

I have a 9 yrs old savvy (manual), the first version. Used it for my uni days, before it was passed down to my brothers. I'm thinking of giving the car a makeover and use it as my ride to and fro office. I have some budget allocated for this project. nobody use the car now.. Kene jemur aje hari2...

I want to start with engine and transmission checkup and repair... Where should I go? Read about rs auto and renau tech, which one is better? For parts i.e headlamps, power window switch etc, where can I buy it? The antenna already gone.. Also need to buy new one.. Does R3 performance pack for savvy still available?

Looks like a lot of question, really wish some otai here could help me out, anyone who can take this project can pm me as well..

Engine mount, engine oil, coolant, brake oil, transmission fluid for gear and power steering, engine gasket, clutch, evaporator clean, cabin filter, engine filter, drain PCV oil, water pump, timing belt, clean entire fuel system, and check exhaust leak, parts can buy at Jalan Ipoh, antenna buy from eBay cheap...
