From Kuching, Sarawak here. I need a recommendation on which workshop can repair my savvy. AMT model.
Since last week the gearbox keep blinking on & off then when I stop at traffic light yesterday the gear shift from 1 to neutral. Since then I cant start the car. Also there was no sound of the electric pump running when you open the car door or before ignition.
One of the Proton SC here said its maybe due to the electric motor or the BOM spoiled. All in all he said repair around 4K....which is too much for me. So any guys can recommend a place in Kuching here can do savvy? Maybe install second hand part for the pump & BOM
Check the oil level for the AMT. There is a clear container on the gearbox.
Yesterday, mine also same problem. Gearbox light came up and gear stuck at 2 or 3. Upon reaching a petrol station, I found the oil level very low. Bought some ATF and fill it up. Now smooth.
The ATF fluid level is fine. Usually even if the level is low the pump would still running when opened up the door. Those 'eee' 'eeeee' sound.
Proton SC here is cutthroat..i dont dare to send there...that's why I need to know in Kuching got other workshop can recommend? my car will need send for repair using tow service at least I know that workshop can repair haha
if open door no charging sound, possibly its the motor brush worn out. the charging motor is just like an electric drill. after a while the carbon brush will finish.
Thanks bro. Then I will try to do myself. Last night cant open up since didn't know how that thing is mounted & bolted. If fail may have to send to workshop haha
It's sad that Malaysia here dont often share on complete DIY guide to repair our own car unlike those UK/US people got complete guide with pic & video. That savoc forum gone also.
