Bought an AMT one for 5K recently. Not bad. Pretty reliable. May want to buy another as spare.

Yes. Still lost to my smart forfour though but I love both cars. I've been hoarding parts for my smart since Day 1. Will do the same for Savvy.

Gotta start planning for future engine replacement. What other compatible engine will fit this into Savvy?

Previously bought a KL plate one about 2 months back. Essentially my daily driver.

Last week, I bought another Savvy. This time a Penang plate one. Overall a steal as previous owner repaired the AMT system and replaced the timing belt before the sale. Have all the paperwork. Only issue now is the loud noise from the AC compressor. Very noisy but AC is very cold. This one will be for modding.

Check the oil level for the AMT. There is a clear container on the gearbox.

Yesterday, mine also same problem. Gearbox light came up and gear stuck at 2 or 3. Upon reaching a petrol station, I found the oil level very low. Bought some ATF and fill it up. Now smooth.

he on phone ask the seal and the gearbox oil , on speaker mode in his handphone

the malay workshop boss is honest and respectful to his customer,
THE CAR IS NOW LIGHT WHEN ACCELERATE AND NOT ROUGH ........

i m very happy.

and charge cheap

clutch seal thing rm50
gearbox oil rm42 (3 litre,rm14 per litre)
rm290 my clutch kit valeo
labor rm120

total rm502 but boss kasi rm500

lol.........

boss chit chat with me long time after finish work at 9pm

1.30pm do till 9pm

consider fast ,

i m happy and want help to promote this boss , while many chinese workshop doesnt want do or charge high,

and yes , THE BOSS NVR CHARGE GST

BOSS ALSO TOLD ME CAN FIT PASSO 1.5 ENGINE TURBO AND WITHOUT TURBO

HE DONT RECOMMEND STARLET BECAUSE TIMING BELT AND YEAR 199X ENGINE

HE SAY PASSO ENGINE IS TIMING CHAIN AND NEWER YEAR AND CAN LAST LONGER,

BOSS IS DOING MODIFIED / TRANSPLANT ENGINE BUSINESS , IS A LEVER HIGHER THAN REPAIR/SERVICE CAR,

HE DONE MY SAVVY CLUTCH MEANS HE CAN DO EUROPEAN ENGINE TOO

The workshop made my clutch pedal lowered and BECOME SO LIGHT , i first not used , but now using the clutch is so easy like in waja manual and effortless. I AM SO HAPPY

my car 1 bar can last about 76 to 80 km
last time almost faulty is 50km per bar only

now after release clutch car can lunge forward it was so powerful and effortless now , gain back all the power and can drive 2900rpm all gear

It will be expensive. Better u swap entire car instead. AMT model only worth RM 3-4K. Since the AMT can be problematic, many won't bother.

Both my Savvy fuel pump and flywheel sensor kaput today. Haih! Luckily AMT still alive and kicking. Will get them back soon.

Almost everything from BLM will fit on Savvy. It is based on Savvy anyway.

After years of owning 2 AMT models, time to sell both for bigger car.

Both are 2006 models and AMT all fully repaired by Renautech.

Both need new paint jobs and new interiors because these were my company workhorses. Both are in stock blue colour.

Don't need to repair or do anything except the above. Ready to drive with valid road tax and insurance. Btw, both also have Katsana installed.

Hope to find a good home for both soon.

In preparation for future petrol increase, I bought myself a Savvy for 1k.

The car is not in running condition hence the cheap price.

However, it can crank but won't start. Already checked the fuel pump and it is humming ok. TDC cleaned. Coil connector cleaned.

What could it be? The car didn't come with the original key with remote. Just a normal unbranded key. The previous owner was able to start the car and drive around ok until she upgraded and left it outside the house for almost a year.

I'm thinking of ordering a replacement TDC to try but need to know what else to check to get it running again. It would be a waste to scrap it because the interior is spotless and mileage is low. The AMT runs fine and able to shift gears in manual mode.

Any help is appreciated. TQ.

Is there an OBD2 which supports the Savvy? My Launch won't even read anything from the car but works fine with other cars.

How to bypass or disable the immobilizer? Pulling out the fuse didn't work.

Ok. Just an update.

1. Fuel pump replaced.
2. Fuel filter replaced.
3. Coil pack replaced (used but working on another Savvy).

Still the same symptom. It won't turnover. Can crank but won't start.

What else could it be?
