On the foglamp auto off feature....I know a few bengs who would consider it an inconvenience than a feature whistling.gif

since i dont have drl, i tend to have it on during my midnight runs so people can spot me and give way (and still that doesn't quite work sweat.gif )

Would like to buy a Proton Savvy,
for now of course it is a second hand since it was not produced anymore.
Just want some opinion here.
Rather buy 2010 savvy 50k+ mileage for RM12k.
or
Buy cheapest savvy available on market and change engine.
From maintenance wise and spare part wise, which one better?
*
As long not AMT, it's good to go. Regular maintenance is just like any other normal car. Check if there's any oil leaks.

engine conversion... if the workmanship is shoddy... major headache later.

BTW, there is one place near my house has a lot of used savvy one for sale. Easily more than 80% of the lot is all Savvy. You can choose till muntah there... laugh.gif

Quick question, due to lazy open door panel. WTA, what is the speaker size for the front?
*
David, speaker size is 6.5" or 16cm. Exactly the same as GAGA.

Hi Friends,
I am new here to this forum. I bought a 2007 Make Savvy in january this year. From then have been enjoying the ride.
Just recently i noticed the Auto light indicator is ON. i thought that this indication of AMT oil is finished. So i topped up the oil with remaultmatic oil . But still the Auto light is ON position and when i am standiing on a traffic signal the Gear position changes automatically to N. Also during the time the Auto light is ON the speedometer stops to respond to speed. Can you guys help me out as what could be the problem. also i live near brickfields and work in bukit jalil. Any advise on a good service center where i can get my Savvy checked would be really helpful.
thanks in advance.

Check your power steering fluid. I think it's leaking power steering fluid, one of the common problems, which you need to replace a stupid nut which cost you over RM200+.

I kena b4.

QUickly go and fill up the power steering fluid b4 it does more damages, even if you have not replace the nut yet.

Hi all,

I'm reviving my 2009/2010 Hi-Line AMT Savvy for the weekend family ride. It has been stationary for 6 months or so. Would a normal service enough?

BTW, where do I get this plastic thigy that holds the windscreen side panel?

user posted image
It actually slides inside here at the windscreen panel.

user posted image
My panel came off like this.

I think the heat might cause it to crack because of the rubbery plastic material. But it's only on the driver's side. Do you guys know where to get it and what is the estimated price?

I also need to get the air-cond knob. The last I checked in Lelong was RM45. Anyone knows anywhere selling cheaper? Gluing it does not work as the plastic cracked and I cant find the missing piece. sad.gif
