QUOTE(richarddrifter @ Dec 3 2014, 06:34 PM) Hi. It's me. It is an offense if got caught by the owner or someone witness it and report it. Anyway, if you cabut the left lamp, please also cabut the driver side rear lamp for me. Oh might as well both front head lamps please Recently having great fun with Savvy, practicing the heel and toe shifting, enjoy g force in every corner. But shit always happens whenever you slipped out of mind. I dent my Savvy buntut and also rear tail lamp. But I saw an abandoned Savvy along the road in somewhere of Malay kampung. Can I go and cabut the things I need? Is it an offence? Enjoy corner. Enjoy Savvy. May G force be with you. |

QUOTE(richarddrifter @ Dec 4 2014, 04:57 PM) Would you mind i ask a silly question? You don't need the entire engine. Take the throttle body, aircond compressor, alternator, starter, power steering pump(this 1 is for me). At the same time, can salvage radiator hose keep for future use.How to cabut rear tail lamp? Is just unscrew the bolts? Got any hidden bolts or clips under rear bumper or not? Appreciate if got pictures or "How to cabut Savvy rear lamps for Dummies" . Thanks ya. That car dumped there just 3 days, almost cabut sampai kosong. Interior gone, bonnet gone, tayar gone, absobar gone, front lamp gone, tangki gone, aircond compressor gone. What there Left are rear lamp x2 and that bloody d4f engine. Anyone want engine? Hahax Keep the right lamp for me if you're gonna use the left 1 |

QUOTE(e-lite @ Dec 5 2014, 08:13 PM) David, if u can take out my power steering pump out of my car without rounding the bolts, u can have it. It is still working with no leaks. In return of the good deeds, may I offer u a trip down to Senawang for a dyno session for your Shawie? Shall find out your air/fuel ratio & see if its possible to dyno tune a few more extra horses for ur baby. |

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Dec 12 2014, 09:18 AM) Advantages to get 13 on Shawie/GaGaPower delivery more emphasized on low/mid range Braking performance at optimal Ease on suspension Better ride and handling due to light weight Cheaper rubber in comparison with the same range of all season tyres Better fuel economy Ease on steering action. Smaller turning radius required for the same angle/corner Disadvantages to utilize 13 Losing top speed Little choice of performance rubbers, even if there is, the price will be much expansive compare to a bigger or common size performance rubbers Lower undercarriage clearance Will not be able to accommodate bigger brake calipers/discs Difficult to match offset(usually will automatically become INSET when downsize from original bigger wheels) Less water channel and cutting due to less tyre width 1 thing must understand, wheel itself is UNSPRUNG weight, hence it will greatly affect ROLL CENTRE balance. Big wheels + lowered does not settle the actual lateral G force. General consensus has been wrong all these while where people think lowering the vehicle height (sprung weight - anything above the spring) has been giving a wrong perception of FEELING stable but the car will be throwing a lot of lateral G-Force and strain the actual tyre traction. This topic will put into a huge "discussion"( or can call it debate as very little will accept the fact that lowering a car doesn't help much on reducing roll), so I'll keep this HANDLING topic for a special thread whenever needs. |

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Dec 12 2014, 02:20 PM) fully agree with sifu Now, the truth is a smaller wheel diameter will result in even lower roll centre and lighter unsprung weight that's why rcs generally kept stock height and at most lower maybe 1 cm or 2 at most and that's in according to the chassis geometry (remember the car originally had 17/18", not 16" lol) |

![]() Genting today. Power delivery from 165/55R14 ATR K-Sport makes the power train fit most of the entire road in 4th gear without worrying torque issue. Traction wise, tapaued almost everything infront of me in the corner, except Sentra Genting Taxi. Most of the corners covered pretty nicely by Mahihi supplied 3MAX anti roll bar. A stretch of small downhill before Gotongjaya ended with a hard left turn, braking point has been greatly improved, from 120 down to 80 within second, and no sweat at all. Must have been the benefit of nestum custom made steel braided brake hose kit & Bendix GCT. Other than the clutch smells like BBQ towards the end of the uphill, otherwise its a joy for the entire journey! I've decided to take a break before I burnt the clutch at the bus parking area. |
