True. They seem to ban anything that they find annoying to deal with. But unluckily a lot of people follow their rules

I'm talking about blaziken. Not mega. I didn't intend to use mega for it anyway

There's no free speed boost. If u use protect, u lost 1 turn. And any decent sweeper stab move can finish it off.

But that's not the main point. Why ban blaziken? The "broken" thing about him is speed boost. Why not ban speed boost on blaziken instead? Or ban protect on blaziken. They can ban swift swim + drizzle, so this isn't unthinkable

2nd round onwards. No one will attack blaziken in the first round because it's almost guaranteed to protect. Blaziken is not fast enough (iinm base 80). You can still outrun it after 1 speed boost

Btw, there's a thread with calculation (ironically the same calc as smogon) in marriland/gamefaq that provide the calculation for this

not sure where u get the moaning idea as im sure as hell not "excited" about the ban

the main reason being friendly match is a 2-way communication. have u tried to find ppl to have a friendly match with u online? the moment they saw blaziken (i even stated its Blaze blaziken with flame plate), they will not have a friendly match with u and your asking for friendly match topic will be derailed into cheater/ban/noob spamming thread

the reason i want blaziken in my team its that its my fav pkmn and i think we can all agree that "speed boost + protect" is the broken thing. Before gen 5, blaziken is a good pkmn but nowhere near uber/broken

and unfortunately i found that ppl will do the following when being asked for a friendly match
1) check team
2) open smogon banlist
3) rage/spam/ragequit when you have a pkmn in that banlist
