Hey guys, Im waiting for my battlefield 4 to arrive in a few days, I failed to find a shop selling the battlefield 4 premium bundle for pc thus I got the base game.

Here's my question, if I just have the base game, what will I be missing and will the type of games I'll be able to join be limited to certain maps ?

Lots thing but do not be a premium 1st cause EA havent fixed most of the bugged yet. SO my advise just play China Rising till all is fixed up.

But the problem is that, the base game doesn't include China rising yeah ?

if not mistaken the base game does not include china rising unless u are saying digital deluxe

you will only have access to game modes from the vanilla version. You will also not be able to join servers that has maps from DLC in the map rotation. You will not get equipments from the DLC as part of your loadout, but you will be able to use it if you pick up the kit from someone who has the DLC

vanilla maps last the longest imo. There are more servers running vanilla maps than DLC maps if that gives you any comfort. So far the DLC maps and modes isn't really that great, but upcoming DLC will bring back a popular mode from BF2142 and it might get a big hit if DICE didn't screw it up too badly

If you liked the game and want to pick up premium, wait for a discount if you can

Play the base game first see if you like it before plunging down on premium.

Premium is approx 100 from tacoland. Origin might do a sale later depending on how well noobs are responding to Second Assault DLC.

Also, BF 3 had one free DLC, BF 4 should get one free DLC later this year, hopefully not CR because CR is major failure.

The latest topic from DICE is Fixing Netcode issues, you should read up as much as possible on what this ongoing problem is about and how it is going to affect your gameplay experience.
