i didnt even do a factory reset. i have to agree the initial kit kat upgrade screwed up the camera and auto loudspeaker switch during incoming calls but the latest updates fixed everything.

will i sell my z1 ? yes....probably bcos i want to upgrade to z2....hehehe

Which telco are you using ? try calling your telco to check if there is a problem with their network before deducing its a problem with the phone biggrin.gif

Agree. as a nokia lumia 1520 and note 2 user, i must say even those phones sometimes lagged when you want them to start up. if sony can fix the speed to which the camera launched...it will be awesome

camera is still slow to launch sometimes....same issue i had with my galaxy note 2 la...so i cant complain much on my z1

just wish sony can fix this problem

i just installed a glass screen to protect the Z1 today....costs me RM40.... now kinda regret cos its a fingerprint magnet

Sony Smartband - seems like the functions are quite similar to the jawbone but for android. i cant seem to justify why i need this. appreciate current and potential owners to share their point of view

Lol...thank god i have my incipio case ( see my siggy) . i tried using Z1 without a case and it is damn slippery. now with my incipio case, i can drop it without any worries

Agreed. after so many bloody updates, i decided to do the hard reset.
Battery life is so much better, recovered tons of memory space on device ( 5gb!) . camera startup issue also gone with 4.4.4 update

(note: mine is AP unit, so just received the kit kat update on sunday)
