It depends on how far you want to go, for blogging / Facebook purpose these photos are fine but to grade it at a higher scale, all the photos are considered careless and have little to no commercial value ....... except for that sliced strawberry in a bowl.
Your wu kok picture also has potential, just avoid photographing at such awkward angle.
For the fish it's better to photograph it as close as you can, of course if you're using 50mm then the MFD is limited.
The latest pic of the strawberry tart, that one's not a good shot. You can do better.
Angle will depend on how the food is displayed vs background vs available lights around.

most of my photos are quick snapshot, so there has no time to arrange for background or lighting things.

btw, for the fish shot, if it is too close, aren't it become only shoot on the fish head or the whole photo full with just the fish?
