No time to layan trolls any more for this week at least. Delsin Rowe and Seattle beckons.
Just need to get the 3 points from the smaller teams and we are set. Don't think Man Utd has a prayer against Bayern now RVP is out for most if not the remainder of the season. Fourth (Third if we are lucky) and the FA Cup would still represent a step forward from past seasons despite the big losses. |

Hope the lads are really getting a damn good bollocking. So quiet from them on social media haha.
I said it before the OX is not ready for a central role. But just because he put a couple past a small team and a decent performance against a complacent Bayern team people were hailing him like he was some Vieira or something. The rawness in that position is evident with so many sloppy passes and being robbed without even being aware that there is a man near him. You don't get so much time in the middle before you are crowded out as on the wings and on the wings most of the time is 1 v 1. These things need some getting used to. We got lucky @ Spurs but not this time. But then again there is no reason to get outplayed so easily. Gotta admit Arsene got it wrong this time. Too gung ho. Poldi shouldn't have started. Arteta and Flamini sitting back with Tomas (Defends better than Poldi) on the left, OX right and Santi behind Giroud. |

QUOTE(crispycreame @ Mar 23 2014, 06:55 PM) I kinda agree with him. I respect Arsene Wenger for all his contribution to the club but his time is up. I hope he doesn't sign the new contract and leave at the end of the season. Start somewhere else and make a new beginning mr wenger. Leave the club before you make more damage and humiliating to yourself and the club. Farewell. Becareful what you wish for. Just look at the #bestteamintheworld. |

QUOTE(Casanova88 @ Mar 23 2014, 11:44 PM) You are one of those fans who only seeing the negative side. Look at Chelsea, Real Madrid, Bayern, Barcelona & Man.City who changes manager every 3-4 years. These teams are still winning trophies! Finding the manager you want isn't the problem. The problem is always whether they are available or not.As long a better manager than AW is appointed, we are safe. I want Guus Hiddink / Johan Cruyff next season with Arsenal. They can bring trophies. Arsene hasn't renewed his contract yet so we will wait and see. |

3 points against Swansea now vital. With City coming up if we fail to get 3 points midweek and at the weekend we will be dragged back into a dogfight with Spuds and Everton.

Swansea are a pretty decent side but I feel the lads will come out firing later and we can get the 3 points which would set us up nicely for Citeh this weekend.

QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Mar 30 2014, 12:54 AM) Pool has to play Man City and Chelsea. If we win tonight its back on.This has got to be one of the weirdest BPL title races. Although for me, no trophy for Mourinho in itself is a trophy for football. Well done CP. |

Good performance. But again just short of that little bit of quality to win the game which are currently all on the treatment table @ London Colney's medical wing.
We gave a good go but kudos to City. This point might just be the title winning point for City. Under the cosh for the last 20 mins of the game but they held firm. That is the difference. We cracked far too many times under pressure but to be Champions you need to be able grind out results and hold firm when not at your best. The title is City's to lose. They might not even need to win against Pool to win the title now. This post has been edited by sigheart: Mar 30 2014, 03:28 AM |

QUOTE(Triumphant Elephant @ Mar 30 2014, 07:31 AM) liverpool top 4 is a total fluke. kudos to them considering the mid table players that they have apart from suarez. well back to europa league again once suarez is gone QUOTE(ahaksz28 @ Mar 30 2014, 07:38 AM) No need to hate la. Even with their mid table players they are on top at the moment. And they thrashed us. What do you want to say about that? Accident? Ok. I will reserve my comments on Liverpool till I've seen them in action in a whole full season. They have always suffered with fixture congestion. I said at the start of the year they are the dark horses already since they have so few games to play. Less chance for injury + squad is fresh week in week out. That is why we need Man Utd to at least get a Europa Cup spot next year. Support Moyes for 6th at least! |

QUOTE(genexern @ Mar 30 2014, 10:37 AM) At least he can run fast and knows how to score goals. Yesterday the fastest Giroud run is when he subbed out to the bench. Yes he is fast. Pundits in Germany are saying his acceleration and change of pace over the first few yards is his greatest asset.Kinda reminds me of Titi. Quick but not the quickest footballer you will ever see however that change of pace from slow to fast so often gives him a sizeable head start that once he is past you you can never catch him over 100 - 150 yards. |

QUOTE(HiperPanda @ Mar 31 2014, 12:11 AM) Wigan shld be Top Priority, second shld be Everton. But Everton game is final call to our EPL journey this season. Failed to win it then other matches can already send under17 team and concentrate on winning Wigan game n FA Cup. Doesnt care bout UCL spot, useless if team not ready to challege it seriously just bcoz of lack quality n backup cover due to unable to get/unwilling to spend more for better player/s. Everton still have to face the two Manchester clubs. |

QUOTE(tungfunglaw @ Mar 31 2014, 01:23 AM) Well..it's a perfect example of the 'benefit' from changing the manager. Its also a perfect example of changing managers doesn't guarantee instant success. How many years have Liverpool spent in the wilderness and how many managers have they changed and how much money has been wasted? For the past few seasons, some are quite pessimistic whenever the idea of asking AW to unmanage Arsenal arose. Brendan rodgers was just a young manager trying to play some fancy attacking football while at Swansea. Now, he manages to challenge the title just the 2nd season with Liverpool. Hopefully the board will look into this matter soon since imho, AW has lost his magic in building a team that can compete competitively among the big clubs. I wouldn't so fast as to pass judgement on Rogers and Liverpool. We have yet to see Rogers in charge of a full fledged season with fixture congestion and what not. We all know how spectacularly he failed in his first season last year when he had to juggle Europa Cup games together with the BPL games. Its not that I am against changing managers. Whichever route the club chooses to take I will fully support but just to remind that as much chance there is of a positive change there also lies an equal chance of the potential pit falls that could await. |

QUOTE(Azurues @ Mar 31 2014, 09:31 PM) http://vimeo.com/90467271 There is no denying he is still a top quality player and lovely to watch particularly with the ball at his feet but I can't help but feel he has dropped a fair bit this year, apart from the obvious lack of goals, also in terms of pass completion and his through balls and diagonal long balls aren't as accurate as they seem to be as it was last season. Tends to make sloppy passes and lose the ball more often this season as well. All touches by Cazorla against ManCity. This guy, playing against Fernandinho and Yaya Toure and still dictating pace of the game. Without him, we would look more lost than lost itself. Would be interesting if we can get hold of his pass completion stats this year so far as to compared to last. This post has been edited by sigheart: Apr 1 2014, 03:15 AM |
