well i have:

Cold Blood passive --- which gives extra 10% damage from any source to the chilled or frozen targets
Astral passive --- for extra Arcane Power
Glass Cannon -- 10% for all damage
Shock Pulse + Piercing Orb or Electrocute + Arcane power per hit (good and fast arcane generator for my wand)

Gear stats :
wand - 0.25 attack speed, gain Arcane Power on Crit hits
source - 6% cold,fire,lightning dmg, extra arcane power and gain arcane power on crit hits
amulet - increase 15% Cold damage
boot - increase 14% Cold damage
bracer - increase 15% Arcane Orb damage

my skill set:
Familiar - extra all damage

Magic Weapon - extra dmg with shield generate on attack

Energy Shield - more crit chance when activated

Any skill I feel like to use - Twister , Blizzard, Meteor, etc (i find meteor shower deal better dmg compare to blizzard even with cold dmg increment from gears)

Shock Pulse + Piercing Orb or  Electrocute + arcane Generate

Arcane Orb - Frozen Orb


I always cast a frozen orb before everything, when I cast a frozen orb , most of the mob around it will get chilled, deal extra damaged with any other dmg, it's like moving aoe damage and cost less arcane, works better than blizzard that only stay in same position

I can cast 4 Frozen Orbs with a full arcane power capacity, and renegerate arcane power from zero to full only 1-2sec with electrocute (piecing orb works better if got massive mobs)

i can also spam meteor or blizzard as much as I want, but use only frozen orb deal much more dmg because i have 29% cold dmg and 15% arcane orb damage from gear

if mobs contact frozen orb directly, they deal very high dmg, if only near it also deal pretty high dmg
as for boss fight, frozen orb deal pretty good dmg too,

if need freezing boss, I use blizzard with the rune that has chance to frozen enemy, keep spamming it on boss

works on butcher and act 3 beast boss though biggrin.gif
it seems there is a internal cooldown to get frozen  on any elite, champions and bosses, you cannot always freezing them

maybe like few seconds

I have been using forked lightning, paralysis, frozen solid blizzard.

cant perma stun, been thinking if we have enough cooldown n resource reduction would frodt nova be viable again?
