Its not like the oil price goes up and down everyday what, you can always include the price of fuel at that point.

Unless you pay for fuel in liters, or nothing better to do, quoting RM/km @ RM1.92 is easier to see at first glance, no need to tekan calculator

is my kelisa overeating than its suppose to eat? sweat.gif

model : 1000 CC EZ Automatic

Fuel: Shell Super Guiness World Record Holder unsure.gif

mileage: RM40 ->20.8L -->~310km only
            14.9 km/L
95% highway (avg 90, max 120kmph)

it seems using shell is no difference, but is it due to high rev in engine? for 110, engine rev at 3.5krpm and 120 is 4krpm alrdy sweat.gif

When the needle is pointing straight up (~70-90kmh) that's the most efficient spot.

Easy on the throttle, its not impossible to consistently get RM60/31L for 400km with aircond and 420km without aircon; using no-toll routes almost all the time.

Car : Kancil GX 850 (M) 1996
Petrol : Caltex Techron Silver (RON 92)
Engine Oil : Castrol Mtec
FC : 0.15cents/km or 12.5km/L

Road type : 60% City 40% Highway

Quite high for a Kancil, but i think its expected because of its age.

Anyone here has any personal experience of improved FC after removing the catalytic convertor? Please share as im suspecting my bad FC is contributed by a clogged cat con. Thanks ^^

Kancil FC depends a lot on the air filter. For optimum performance and FC, tune it on ron97 and change air filter every 5000km. The kancil FC is cheap enough to run ron97 smile.gif

Erm, based on all of the FCs i've seen in this thread, my car seems to be problematic. Here it goes.

Car type : Iswara 1.5 (A) 2003
Driving Condition : City 100%
a.KMs : 110 KM
b.RM : 30.00
c.Ratio : RM 0.27/km
d. : 7.26km/litre

Even if my floor d gas pedal too much i'm sure the FC won't be that high right? I think  smth is wrong with my car but i can't figure out wats d prob.

The problem is u are going too fast for a 3-speed auto to be efficient or gunning the engine around too much tongue.gif

Ur car is efficient up to 70kmh or so only, even 80 is $$$ cause the engine is already 3k rpm
