Metallic nicer of course. Price difference? Glacier has more depth.

Solid white always has this tendency of getting stain marks, if not mistaken. Metallic color is the way to go.

Mh. Typically solid white is the free color when ordering a car. Maybe, if they are really keen on getting you to pay for a color they will give you solid red. laugh.gif So for the S5 for example you spend 800 Euro... RM 3600 more for Glacier white.

A friends' S5, glacier white if I'm not mistaken. He had to wait longer because of the color. Hopefully I'll get the chance to take better photos of the car soon. biggrin.gif

IMHO you can see the lines better with a metallic white paintjob... as in depending on the angle the color will change more than with a solid white car. Look at it straight, it's white. Look at it from an angle, it's grey. Whereas with Ibis white it would be white in any case.

Personally, I dont own an audi hah but generally, prefer metallic white to solid color...metallic has the kind of inherent glossy bright that emits a higher class aura or oozes elegance unlike solid white

Solid white arh...unless you are driving a type-R, a myveee or Toyota Altis (maybe even Camry or Vios) and intermittently, any random normal car sampled...how to sample U asked. Using epic ancient technique of simply throw a tiny pebble on the street and your chance of hitting a solid white car that sort of random lol), I rather not pick a solid white

So conclusion, metallic white is the way to go for me. My sister loves her solid white myvi alot FYI

I asked my friend. He said ibis white picks up dirt more easily, and that it would fade, turn yellow. Now I find it hard to believe, but no one researches more before buying a car than him.

He meant the ibis white (solid) color. It may look nicer but would require a lot of cares.

Dunno about Audi ibis white, but Perodua solid white on my wife Alza gave me loads of headache. Flow marks on door handles (from grease etc) windows frame, door edge etc.
