There is no definite answer. We can recommend you kernels and you test it out for your usage.

A lot here on: ElementalX
Me and a few here on: Faux kernel
Some on: Franco
Some etc etc.

I try before external HDD on my ex-gnex, not working.
alternatively, suggest you attach your external HDD to any computer within same network, using Plex to play your media. for other files, stop samba server.....
*
i want to use it for watching movie/drama/anime on the go. if at home, better i just use pc for watching all that tongue.gif

I don't know where to ask already... sad.gif

I'm using my D821 Nexus 5 here in Australia but I couldn't use the internet at all. I've already tried the internet setup via the website but to no avail. Even called up the customer line and have them reset the network but the result was the same.

Any idea why? I set to 3G or 4G it's the same. D821 should definitely be compatible with Australia 3G band right..
*
why not just go to your isp center and ask them to reconfigure your phone? hmm.gif

Thanks for the help but manually configuring it using the settings provided in the website didn't work at all.

Lebara Mobile AU doesn't have any "service" centre thus it's quite difficult, unlike other telco like Vodafone/Telstra/Optus sad.gif

I may have to switch to Amaysim soon (AUD40 = RM120+ for Unlimited text/call +4GB) and hope the problem doesn't persist.

Btw, are you guys living in Aussie? biggrin.gif

nope, me still in malaysia tongue.gif

Nah, in Malaysia.

Maybe can try this: http://forum.melbia.com/lebara-mobile/leba...msung-t157.html
You mean dpi? Use any explorer with root access. Navigate to /system/build.prop, change ro.sf.lcd_density to how big you want.
Or well, you can google for any dpi changing app. I personally don't need just one app to do a single function.
Don't go below 360.
*
owh, thanks wub.gif

also, is there anyway to get immersive mode without buying apps from playstore and activate pie from bottom screen? because everytime i swipe from bottom screen to activate pie, google search came out sad.gif

unfortunately no. it's not design on that way. on the move, either you have good data plan, watching online streaming or more storage internally for maybe few movies only. else, there is expensive solution, wifi mobile hdd (build in battery can last about 7-10 hours).
*
hmm... i think i found 1. but not sure if it can be use on all type usb storage hmm.gif hmm.gif

My ex Nexus4 can connect through USB-OTG to my Samsung 1TB harddrive n i see no reason why a more advanced N5 is unable to...it could be the cables problem. I have 3 usb-otg cables n only one can connect successfully... SO try with other cables
*
my nexus 4 also same, maybe usb port not enough power to power otg device? hmm.gif hmm.gif
