SSD require much lower power ( average SSD 2W vs 6W HDD ), battery consumption will be better.

yes, weekly build. every Monday update. still testing latest build.
if you worries, you can flash their stable build.

Yeap, the phone is fine. Can boot to recovery and bootloader. After update then I run 1 time the recovery, did clear cache. (like a test run)
Reboot back to system. After like 2 mins, it reboots. And so on.

Now trying to reflash rom and kernel.

Here's my battery life with slimkat 3.0 + elementalx 0.31. Probably 6 hours on WiFi then rest LTE. I dont know why mine so less compared to others, I think its my notification light ? Some gaming and youtube.

My ex Nexus4 can connect through USB-OTG to my Samsung 1TB harddrive n i see no reason why a more advanced N5 is unable to...it could be the cables problem. I have 3 usb-otg cables n only one can connect successfully... SO try with other cables

Are you guys certain that Nexus 4 can use USB-OTG feature with a normal USB-OTG cable instead of a Y-cable?

IINM, Nexus 4's hardware itself can't provide the needed 5V DC Supply to USB Peripherals so a Y-cable is needed (like the old external HDD cable that uses 2 USB slot on PC) to supply the power from an external usb port (i.e: Powerbank) as illustrated in
http://www.androidcentral.com/android-adva...usb-otg-nexus-4

This is also why I always make fun of my friend using N4 saying that I can do Nandroid on my USB Drive while he can't tongue.gif
