3G/mobile network will drain your battery more. If you want higher SOT, use wifi and custom kernel.

actually it's depends on different people. some can tolerate newbies questions, some just can't. even in xda, dev like franco don't like newbies, but stratosk (semaphore kernel) or morphic (trinity kernel) actually promote newbie's questions and answer them personally some times.

anyway we should add FAQ for no such thing as fake nexus5. best check is via boot loader, it should show many critical info there beside imei.

It's about the question and attitude. My comment was triggered by one guy asking price of N5. There's reference at 1st page OP, there's so many sellers in forum for latest price as well. There's many users that's completely new to Android/N5 come to seek help/advice, you could see how rapid and passionate we responded.
If goes back to that person's question, it's not been answered for few pages already. Whereas another user seek advice when just jump ship to N5, many users responded.
It's about attitude and initiative.

N5 is too warm, ip5 too cool......5s is just right

What's to be bored about a kernel
Faux kernel. Franco kernel. Bricked kernel

some of us might be annoyed by those kinda stupid question asked but for them.

this might be the only place to look for information as they have not been able to get any reply from elsewhere even in xda. from my experience, xda is not very helpful when my previous phone was having some problem, the reply I get was PEBKAC. I just reply the guy that I can afford to have my phone bricked and buy another one, can he. he just keep quiet.

Nah, am on faux kernel. don't really use S2W/dt2W too, using power button and volume rocker to wake phone.
